in defense, when my wife sends a video to me from her iPhone it always comes in as low resolution to my Android phone.

bullshite.

There is only so much they can do in the moment if the judge pushes them off and delays.

the videos aren't the same then the prosecution has failed to play fair and this trial is a sham

Here is my theory,

It was done intentionally. They know there isn’t a winnable case. They don’t want a jury to acquit Kyle, because then the system worked and evidence shows he did no wrong. If they rig it where the judge dismisses the case on a technicality then the left will run with the narrative that Kyle would have been guilty, judge was on kyles side, system is broken, systemic racism, etc in order to create maximum outrage

There is no question that prosecutorial conduct has prejudiced the jury against the defendant. It is certain that the prejudice warrants mistrial.

The only question is whether or not the conduct was merely negligence or was it intentional/malicious.

I'd pose a far out conspiracy. The prosecution actually believes Kyle is not guilty. However, they are pressured from above to give the appearance that they are putting on a trial to minimize damages. The prosecution is trying its best to throw the case and evoke a mistrial, but the judge and defense are too dumb to realize.

Happens to me too when I get MMS sent to me from an iPhone but this wasn't a video sent via MMS. It was emailed to the defense and that simply doesn't happen.

My favorite taglines from Twitter that the defense should consider:

File size not legit— you must acquit

If the video is resized, you must mistry

If the video is not HD, Kyle must walk free

If the pixels don’t fit, you must acquit

When the jury request to see that video the judge will have to make the call. Then new arguments will happen again.

The judge ran off to read what the newspapers were saying about him and let them hash it out. He also just now on last break read the defenses motion to dismiss w/prejudice

When Wisco laid out the facts, it was a mic drop... Don't know how the Judge didn't immediately call for experts to come in and explain like a 5yr old to him and then him prejudice the prosecution.

What’s the deal with the compression files or whatever ?

What are they trying to show or prove ?

I don’t get that

The state withheld evidence by deliberately sending the defense a severely compressed, blurry file that the State then used to say Kyle provoked Rosenbaum. The State is saying they sent the regular video to the defense but it got compressed, the filename, and the metadata changed all by itself.
The prosecution is hinging it's case on whether Rittenhouse provoked the incident. The entire case. Nothing else lends any credibility to the state's case.

They have one piece of evidence that they say shows that. The video clip, where the defendent is a tiny figure in the corner (did he raise the gun or not?).

They are supposed to provide this evidence to the defense, as it would impact their defensive case.

What they sent is compressed, much more blurry, to the point of irrelevance. Defense sees no reason to even spend much time on this, as it's totally inconclusive.

Now, it's come out that the state has a much higher resolution file, which (may or may not) show that evidence. And which has a different filename than what was sent.
