The only bad thing is that It’s obvious he walked into the stadium late by his description of the pregame.

Correct, but there are a few more things that bugged me about him too. First of all, I appreciate how effusive they were in their praise of the experience. But this dude is a pretty massive dork.

Lafitty’s? Did he not pick up any of the history of Lafitte‘s Blacksmith Shop when he was there? I mean who his age hasn’t heard of Jean Lafitte?

He also called Superior Grill Superico’s. More than once. Pretty bad.

He thinks Baba O’Reilly is called Teenage Wasteland.

Something tells me he has no idea who even sings “Teenage Wasteland” because, maybe the worst part, he likened the crowd noise to the first time you hear Dave Matthews or Coldplay??? They said they’re dating, but I think he might actually be gay.

Aside from those things, awesome video.
Kevn Kenny of Drivin ‘n Cryin is always drinking beer during the shows. In early ‘22 at Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville though, he was more than a few sheets to the wind. He botched the lyrics at one point in one of the songs and the other guys just had a good laugh about it. He was still playing quite well though.

To his credit, the last time I saw them in Greenville a year and a half ago they were just a three-piece without Laur on guitar, and he seemed quite sober. Figured that’s because he knew he had no margin for error.

Can’t wait, my man. It’s gonna be awesome to finally see Down.

You going to the game?
All tickets are in hand and I’m jacked.

The Down show will be at the Fillmore in Silver Spring. Bonus is Helmet supporting. One of my favorite bands of the 90s.

Will be my first time seeing Down.

It’s gonna be an epic six days.

Didn’t realize it was that easy!

Yep. Pretty cool. It doesn’t work with everything. I think it’s only with YouTube and X posts.

Man thank you for that information. Never knew how to bring links to Tigerdroppings

Explain to me how you did this like I’m 4!

Copy the link of the YouTube video like usual but instead of tapping on “link” to post it, tap the embed button two below it. The one with these symbols. <>

Are there any other great ideas out there?

You think this…
quote:

1. The referees blow a call near the end of the game that allows LSU to win

is a great idea?

Okay. Why the frick would this thread be anchored? What a bunch of bullshite!

Here since 2003.

September 2006 here but been making pilgrimages to Tiger Stadium since 1972.

I can say, unequivocally, that this is the most excited I have ever been about an LSU football season.

Man, as far as here in my adult life, I’m right there with you. Best coaching staff in the country headed up by one of the preeminent offensive minds in the game for awhile now. I’m JACKED.

Tickets are in hand for the pilgrimage from Jax for the Clemson game.

Can’t. fricking. WAIT!!

The atmosphere that day is gonna be insane.
I read the OP to mean a game that you attended, so that’s what my answer is.

10th ranked Florida vs #1 undefeated Florida State in Gainesville, 1997. Attended with my Gator fan wife and her family.

Fred Taylor ran wild, and Spurrier threw a massive curveball by rotating quarterbacks on a play-to-play basis for much of the game.

It was an absolute classic that Florida won. If I remember correctly, not many people gave them a chance of winning. I had to tip my hat to the Florida crowd that night. That stadium was balls out rocking. Best environment I’ve experienced outside of Baton Rouge.
