He started going that way by saying he was going to reopen the evidence and get all of this under oath. Then he said the jury wasn't asking to see that video yet so he punted.

This footage was originally HD/1080p, and then cropped to 844p for some strange reason.
But then, in discovery, the prosecution gave the defense only a 212p massively compressed and reduced quality/size of the already doctored version.
They never turned over the 1080p HD original raw version.
And one can quite easily infer from this that it’s because the undoctored raw version, with no added predictive pixels, shows Kyle with the gun in his right arm pointing down, and even quite possibly see a handgun in Zeminski’s hand, which many people claim they have seen in other videos.
Which if this is the case, then one can infer the prosecution gave the 212p shitty version to the defense on purpose so they can make their case on the doctored version.

I agree. If these are the videos they asked for - which show Kyle not shooting and running towards the police until attacked and only shooting as lefty held a gun at Kyle's head. That's good for the self defense case, I think.

Actually, it doesn't. The State argues that it does. And it's the lynchpin of the provocation instruction. Without it they don't get the provocation instruction and without the instruction the deliberation would already be over. This is a miscarriage of justice. These prosecutors are dirty as frick. The case should be declared a mistrial with prejudice. Defense counsel should be WAY more vocal on the issues.

Reminds me of Chief Justice Roberts, refusing to overturn ObamaCare ( going so far as to change the law HIMSELF ) , or the 2020 election, simply because he doesn't want to deal with the blow back. This judge looks like he's giving the prosecution more and more rope to hang itself, but to only give out more when needed.

Say again..every piece of current case law and best practices says:
Original evidence comes in and you don’t touch. You make a forensic copy to work from and seal original.
Defense gets a forensically indentical copy if they ask..which they have.
Forensic software marks the video with a hash value that identifies it. If that hash changes..the video changes. Both groups hash value has to match.
Should never be gmailing or drop boxing evidence..good lord.
