I think it’s less of that and a result of purple and blue voters moving here from other states for work. I travel around the Houston area a decent amount for work and I almost exclusively see Talarico signs around, with Hinojosa slightly trailing. Absolutely nothing for Republicans.

There are a lot of democrats that like Talarico. They view him in a very different manner than republicans do. Especially in Austin, there are more signs for him than I’ve ever seen for a senatorial candidate.

Agree.
I can believe polls showing Talarico within at least striking distance, at least early on before all the stuff of his past comments and beliefs is broadcast statewide every hour, because Paxton is a huge piece of shite and anyone honest with themselves knows it.
But Abbott trailing that Democrat lady who had zero statewide name recognition before the Gov’s race? No way.
And so that should invalidate the way this entire poll was conducted and the results.

In our area - North East (DFW) Collin County it's all Paxton signs and heavy republican.

Ask yourself a question, do you know anyone that have been surveyed for one of these polls?
I'm willing to bet that no one has been surveyed and it's all made up bullshite. All you have to do is look at the dems approval rates. That tells the story.
As for Texas, the state government is still controlled by the Bush dynasty and oil barrons. They are worse than the dems.
