I doubt the IRGC is sitting on their hands waiting on the attack. The SOH may be shut down but the roads into Russia and Pakistan are not. Who knows what kind of shoulder fired anti-aircraft weapons have been brought in.
The IRGC has proven they are fanatics who will kill their own people. If we are ready we need to finish the job. If we walk away with the IRGC still in charge, we have made a colossal mistake.

The Israelis have tried "why can't we all just get along" for forty years. The Israelis I have talked to about October 7th have realized they cannot co-exist anymore and must do whatever necessary to control those areas and allow only peace loving Arabs and Palestinians to live there.
The problem is Iran and their proxies, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Hutis along with all the other radical Islamist groups they promote and support.
