We should go full tilt in destroying everything that moves and every military target around the strait.
They've been planning and deploying their assets in such a way as to make that highly impractical. I mean, we could do it. But it would take basically sacrificing our SEAL boat teams in close quarters fights in extremely hostile terrain. Plus amphibious landing of marines on mined and guarded beaches.
The coast of Iran is a nightmare of rocky cliffs, inlets, islands, and perfect places to hide. A defensive wet dream and an assaulting nightmare.
Basically the ideas has been studied, proposed, and firmly rejected. We can't root them out of there without losing a significant percentage of our special forces. It simply can't be done from the air. And it would be too costly to do from the ground.

What would happen if we just did nothing and just said let the world solve this problem?

There is no logical spin. Prior to war, Iran had nuclear dust buried. The Straits were open and gas was on the way down, as well as the costs of fertilizer and other global essentials.
Now, farmers cannot afford to farm, food costs are going up, fuel costs up, straits are closed and controlled by Iran.
There is no spin for anyone that’s not an absolutist Trumper.
That’s not to mention that Netanyahu has been claiming Iran has been close to have a nuke since 1992.
This is all about Israel wanting total control of the region. I think one of two things happened: Venezuela gave Trump a false sense of things; or he was blackmailed by Israel.
You cannot make sense of it otherwise.

They are NOT going to negotiate in good faith.
That tends to happen when you bomb the frick out of someone and destroy schools full of kids.
This is a quagmire and unless Trump decides to go all in on this bullshite, we're just going to keep seeing this play out over and over again.

This is all part of the plan. You panicans just can't see it! Celestial interdimensional 9D chutes and ladders, as foretold by Q. The storm is coming and it will be weathered by a gold Trump tower along the Caspian Sea

Time to call their bluff…..

I suspect a big part of this prolonged “negotiation “ is buying time for something we don’t know about.
Intelligence for targeting, resupply, military rotations, etc. I don’t think it’s purely to negotiate.

LOL they are the ones wanting all the wars to end. But the US is buying time covering for Israel while they continue their invasion into Lebanon and genocide in Gaza. Then you get mad at Iran for giving up on talks since the west wont stop its wars. Hypocritical and hilarious how fake you morons are.

Who attacked who first is just a matter of picking a point in time and can be manipulated to fit an agenda, just like the conflict in Gaza.
Seems pretty clear that Israel and the United States started this current conflict

Honest question…
What do we bomb? If we’ve taken all military bases and equipment, what do we hit next? Is that the constraint we are facing?
I don’t think we’ve got a winning strategy if we are left bombing civilians in hopes we hit enough leaders to change the course of all of this.

All this needless back and forth with these hadji fricks. Let Israel nuke this terroristic country.
Posted on 6/1/26 at 11:47 am to loogaroo
This is the prelude to the US and Israel just putting the foot on the gas and destroying the country. I read an article about this and attached it to a thread yesterday. The Iranians have given no indication they will give up their nuclear ambitions nor their ability in drones or ballistic missiles to threaten neighbors with the closing of the strait, bombing their oil infrastructure or otherwise be a menace. So we will destroy their infrastructure, bankrupt the country and put down any attacks on their populace who will, with our assistance, take it to the clerics and IRGC.

Whatever they’re using to block the straight, bomb that. Why we haven’t done that yet is beyond me.

If only we had elected a President who promised to do just this. Unfortunately with high oil prices, deficit spending, protecting the Epstein files, inflation, and ME wars, we've got Biden 2.0

Yeah, let’s nuke someone to keep them from getting nukes. That makes total sense.

Can we just bomb Iran until it is Persia again?

I'd acknowledgment that I saw this coming .... and pretty much every American saw this coming Why in the hell is our President so determined to negotiate with people who only undrestand one sided deals...? Trump needs to stop fricking around TAke the strait, open up oil and frick these demonic fools pound them, then bury them
Probably because when we first bombed them people cried. We tried diplomacy and it didn’t work. We are dealing with a rogue military that will harm their own people.
