I could be way off, but I feel like I’d be tempted to reach out to parents in my area and ask them to be armed and close by at every stop as well as having a car or two following the bus all the way to the school.
I say I could be way off bc I’d be nervous about there being a shootout with kids near by. Either way, even unarmed, I’m getting parents at every pick up stop as well as a car or two with others following behind the bus the entire way.

It really is awful for these kids that their parents value their own feelings over the safety of their children. Personally, I'd put any dem-voting parents up against the wall alongside the kidnappers.
