There's a HUGE GAPING difference between a rightist populist and a conservative.
Same on the other side (although not as big, admittedly, because populism is baked into liberalism. Which is why populism always pulls left. Which is why MAGA accepts so many leftist propositions without blinking.)

MAGA/America First is an idea with a following. Very little policy is being made in Trump’s presidency and almost no long term change is being made. Everything he has accomplished is through EO’s.
Republicans can’t wait until he is out of office even if they have to sit through 4 to 6 years of Democrats leading the House and Senate.
