Are you serious? Ridding the world and ourselves of a nuclear threat from a rogue nation like Iran is the benefit. And once the evil regime has completely been capitulated by our military might, you will see oil prices fall sharply.
Once oil drops like expected, it will have a domino effect on prices of food, goods, etc. We will experience a complete reversal of all Joe Biden and the evil democrats' tactics to bring down the U.S.A.
Thank you for your attention.

Based on the common news available, it looks like the cost is short term higher prices (still not historically high when adjusted for inflation) and the benefit is avoiding astronomically high prices sustained for years caused by a nuclear Iran.

That’s not addressing my question. Yes or no, did Trump run on affordability?

This is one time I've supported the President putting pressure on oil executives. If were were completely divested, we shouldn't be experiencing much of an uptick.

What is he supposed to do about the "oil executives"? What do you expect "oil executives" to do?

You talking about those who make decisions on behalf of OPEC nations, or you talking about executives at companies like Exxon, Chevron, Devon, Diamondback, etc?

This has yet to be achieved

We are quickly approaching the end of the timeline where Trump can act without congressional approval. Do you think we secure a deal that will stop them from enriching Uranium soon?

Sure he ran on affordability. Core CPI was 2.4% the lowest in years. Gas and oil will go down quickly when this ends. You will have hundreds of millions of stranded barrels from Hormuz, UAE producing more, OPEC+ increasing production, Venezuela increasing production.

That seems like an irrelevant question. Is Trump delivering on affordability as a campaign issue?

Never? That's kind of odd.

Iran won't have nuclear weapons, will no longer be the bully of the Middle East, and will no longer kill thousands of Americans and Israelis through their proxies?

We’re trying to stop an insane suicidal religious death cult regime from developing nuclear weapons and terrorizing the world.

Not having a freighter carting a nuclear bomb detonate in NY Harbor in the next decade. Not having Iran do EXACTLY what it is doing right now in the strait, but on its own timetable, without US assets deployed, and with full military capacity intact. Leaving China confident enough to try and pull off a Taiwan invasion.

Are those things worth a buck-50 per gallon for a couple of months?

I’ve noticed people who complain about gas prices usually also smoke or drink or have other shitty habits. I’ve never thought about gas prices. If an extra hundred or more dollars a month hurts you then cut back or improve your life

It’s costing my farm about 5-6k more a month. And due to low sales because consumers are cutting back on eating out and grocery purchases we are about to have to lower fish prices which will cost me about 100k in revenue this month

It’s not just individuals hurt by this

How fricking brainwashed are you? That’s fricking stupid and anyone who agrees is a retard. It’s not worth paying $1.50 more per gallon just so we can frick up some country in the Middle East, only for that country to become an even bigger shithole than before. Unbelievable.

Well said...I can't believe how many ignorant folks there are on this site! To ask "what is the benefit from war with Iran" has got to be THE dumbest question of all time. Of course, demorats don't see the benefits...or at least they don't want to admit that it is good for us and the world. That's just how demorats operate.

NOT having a nuclear warhead detonating on American soil? Seems fairly clear to me.
