He and his Administration met with some execs, just like they've consistently done during this term. Anything else of real significance?

Because I'm not seeing any reports where he told Mike Wirth and other "execs" to actually do anything, other than the current continued progress in Venezuela and asking if there's anything additional the administration can assist with domestically.

Maga people. We’re all eating massive Trump shite thanks to maga people. Maga people are the only ones happy to smile while chewing. It’s funny because trump is mentioned in the epstein files 38,000 times.

It’s a bozo bizzaro world right now.

Really? I do not think you know who the world's biggest sponsor of terrorism really is.

Iran having nukes would be bad…for everyone in nuking range of them (eastern Europe, the Middle East, West Africa). Last I checked, the not one of the United States are located within 3000 miles of anywhere Iran could hit with a missile.

Now, there’s something to be said about working with allies to address threats proactively. However, this conflict has alienated our allies who actually want nothing to do with stopping Iran. So, who are we actually helping? Why are we fighting to protect people who have no interest in protecting themselves?

It just doesn’t make good financial, geopolitical, or economic sense. This conflict is extremely risky and expensive for a very long shot payoff. It just isn’t something that, if I had any say on, would invest or involve myself or my country in.

Can you articulate the benefit?

A terrorist state that chants death to America and is responsible for killing 1000+ America troops over the last 4ish decades not obtaining nukes?

From our perspective, 1000% Iran.

Ah, yes, guess we shouldn't have tried.

We at least delayed them a good bit.

There was no actual glut, major banks took IAE's word that there was 1 billion barrels sitting in tankers. That was never verified. The price was going to rise anyway.

The average tight shale well has to be replaced OFTEN. Oh they flow like a mofo the first year so almost instant payback but no longer production. Saudi Arabia only has about half a million BPD swing capacity. It's not like it was even a decade ago.

One of us doesn't seem to.

From a Great Google search "which country is the biggest sponsor of terrorism" I get the following

"According to the United States Department of State and numerous intelligence reports, Iran has consistently been identified as the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism since 1984. The country provides funding, weapons, and training to various militant groups across the Middle East, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the..."

The world leader in terrorism is the CIA.

Iran is probably a distant second, but still a formidable one.

For most of those guys they are finally getting to do what they signed up to do and what they have dreamed about doing. So, I’m not too sure about the “sacrifices” they’re making.

Right now it seems like our government has no desire to leave the middle east any time soon.

No one is interested in nation building except our government and lobbyists, especially if it means increasing the cost of living.

Every war game we have run says we lose to China if we confront them in the south China sea.

Every war game?
You are joking?

The only scenarios I'm aware off showing China wins involve surprise attacks on US and Japanese assets and a rapid amphibious deployment in succession. Something akin to the Pacific theater Dec 1941 - Spring 1942. Even then, Taiwan would be devastated and, other than the geographic acquisition, China would gain very little. Do you honestly see that scenario as the way China would choose to proceed?

Iran hasn’t committed military and intelligence operations against Americans inside the United States.

Our greatest ally, however, has.

No one is asking for “perfect.” What people are asking for is Trump not to hand over the White House and Congress for a decade all for the sake of some vague foreign policy goal that changes on a weekly basis.
