Yeah. It’s me in a cult and definitely not you.

Projection. Look it up.

I am. I have made that clear. It's stupid. It's dishonest. It's back handed to elderly Americans... While at the same time:

- We spend trillions on endless wars that does nothing for our people/

- We spend a crap ton to illegals

- We spend a crap ton on those not working...

etc etc.

Yet we want to punish those promised those funds that DID work... are NOT illegal.

Yes I disagree with it when there are other ways to approach it.

Which is what you did in this thread. It was you that raised the "Cult" in this thread.

Maybe you do need to look it up.

Is this supposed to be a dig? Social Security and nationalized health insurance can both get fricked.

Wrong. You can be conservative as frick, but you start fricking with SS and you might as well turn over the US Government to Democratic rule forever.

Imagine finally making one of their lies become a truth.

You don't mess with SS, especially in an election year.

I wonder if you’ll post the same for the Desantis or bust guys. I’d bet not.

So it's dishonest and stupid to raise the age of eligibility to, say 70, for a program set up in 1935 when life expectancy was (I'm guessing, but probably close) 67 that provided social security benefits starting at age 65? And you know how they'd do this. Changes would happen over time, and those even remotely near retirement age would see their threshold increased n0 more than a year, etc. You'd probably have to be 45 to see a retirement age of 70.

You sure sound like a big government, tax-spend liberal, bro.

Yes. It is. If you want to raise the age, you do it with everybody entering the work force now. Anybody after that should be hands off.

Which is BS.

And that's BS too. Going back on what was promised is not conservative.

You left out the facts I posted and then make that claim. It's dishonesty at it's best David:

We would not be here had we had not done those things.

do you support raising retirement age?

Not really. I'm an Xer and the boomers are already trying to raid my retirement. Next thing you'll know they will want access to my 401K and then tax my non earning assets.

How about keep your promises and stop over spending on other budget items?

The good news is the boomers will be dying off and the Xers will follow. The Xers are a much smaller population supported by a much larger population of Millennials. The Ponzi-like scheme works well when the demographics are light at the top. Just have to get through the boomers but also have to keep them from raiding the Xer's retirements before they are gone.

Has Trump ever defended his attack on the Second Amendment, irresponsible spending that led to inflation, getting cucked by Fauci, Operation Warp Speed, etc?

But your arguments are to save big government. Stop trying to save it. Government is greedy enough. Less money going into and more money coming out is the smaller government argument.

Wrong. Even people who support Trump, like myself, have legitimate gripes and disagreements. Why are Trump supporters the majority of those who refused the clot shots despite him promoting them?

That's a point of discussion/negotiation. A term of the plan.

So is it fair to say that you support raising the retirement age for SS and medicare, as long as those affected have an adequate heads-up?

Which is BS.

The idea of raising the retirement age slooooowly so as to not burden those nearing retirement is BS?

How is it dishonest for me to say that to my ears, you sound like a big government type?

Do you understand the meaning of words, jjdoc?

But we did, and now we are here. It's not "conservative" to run from problems, jjdoc.

Trump: Ron DeSantis is fiscally conservative and wants to cut back on government spending and tries to save a program where unless reforms are made it’ll go bankrupt
