And you're good with your guy cynically campaigning against a guy that, if you believe DT's post, might do some good on weighty fiscal matter?

What does doing good on some weighty fiscal matter mean?

What does good mean? And why cut it when you have the FR to bailout any overspending? Can we cut Ukraine spending first?

Why would anyone attack a candidate for governor on SS and Medicare? That's dumb. These are purely federal issues, not state.

Politicians like Trump know that more people support doing nothing to SS and Medicare than people cutting it. It's purely a political position.

How very swampy of him.

The government fricked it up by making promises it failed to keep. I will be furious if I retire and these benefits are not included. People plan their retirement based upon these benefits, that again, they have paid into with every paycheck they ever earned.

And it's why DeSantis will not comment on it.

It means social security and medicare are big fiscal issues for the country, and maybe addressing the problems is a good idea?

And why is SS and Medicare currently a big fiscal issue? Did the congress overpromise? Did congress overspend in other areas?

You didn't start a thread by posting DT quotes about congress overpromising and overspending. Your post is about doing something (or not) about social security and medicare, and DT. So don't tell me about Ukraine or the GND - tell me straight up, (for starters) do you support raising retirement age?

Trump is talking about what GOPe is tlking about.

The Republican Study Committee, the largest conservative caucus in the House, has called for increasing the threshold for Medicare to 67 years of age and Social Security to 70 years of age in an effort to avoid the programs’ trust funds from becoming insolvent, per its fiscal 2023 budget.

The group includes more than 150 Republican members of the House, the majority of the GOP caucus.

Bro, it will be a huge issue in the places that matter. Understand bro?

Cutting Medicare and Social Security are not issues at the state level bro.

How is increasing spending on entitlements going to fix this?
