Met John Breaux many years ago. Nice guy but he was on the campaign trail so was to be expected.

Met Scalise at a tailgate before the Florida game last season. Pleasant and friendly. Just a brief chat then I left him alone.

Tons. I worked with legislators for many years. Most are really dumb and shouldn’t be making decisions, but also fun to have a beer with.

Jindal, my dad built his fathers house.. super normal nice guy,

Bill Cassidy… arrogant a-hole

Garrett Graves.. nice, very sharp, kind of a trust fund baby type but personable

Billy Nungesser… like actually really dumb, a friend of mine worked on his first Lt gov campaign and I helped them work on some stuff and just analyzing some speeches he was giving and I realized this guy doesn’t talk in coherent sentences. Nice, corrupt, typical of what a Louisiana politician is thought of being

I had met Kip Holden multiple times over the years and different events and settings. He was also incredibly nice and very fun outgoing.

Saw and spoke to Hillar in Omaha last year.

Met Kip Holden.

Met Mike Johnson at a cookout. he was a little nerdy to be honest.

Senator Kennedy is a Louisiana boy, in a good way, and if you get him off politics, his persona is real. With a law degree from the University of Virgina, one of the country's most prestigious law schools & a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, his IQ is higher than most in Congress. He lives in a normal 2 bedroom apartment in D.C., not in a mansion in Maryland or Virginia like many of his peers. A good friend grew up in Crowley & his family was the Hatfields to EWE's McCoys. As a strong Christian family, he said that EWE was the first to call when his mother passed.....but also described EWE as the most corrupt, morally bankrupt person he knew.

Met Edwin Edwards 3 times. He dated my girlfriends roommate while we were attending LSU . A sneaky dude.

Elaine Edwards' grandmother delivered my mom, she was a midwife in Avoyelles parish.

Met David Duke at Tiger Stadium when he was running for governor. Odd character.

My metrocouncil woman walks away from me when she sees me coming.

Used to see Buddy Roemer at the bookstore on Perkins Rd. he seemed to care about the state.

Met Mike Foster twice and Kathleen Blanco. Foster cared about the state. Blanco seemed to be angry about something.

Never met Jindal.

Met bel Edwards at a contractor's Christmas party. Seemed superficial.

Billy Tauzin had some dealings with my father, met him when I was much younger.

Had Kip Holden come to speak to my students twice when I was a teacher. He cared about BR but he chased women.

And Fox McKeithen bought me lunch twice when he was the Secretary of State, he seemed to be an alright person.

Also met Jim Brown when he was the Sec. of Insurance in the old Insurance building. I was doing research for a paper I was writing on the cost of car insurance. That old building would shake every time the elevator was in use.
