re: ATV Registration

"ATV registration? I’ve got 3 atvs now and none are registered.
Like the other guy, I highly recommend insurance. Mine is inly like $75/year. I had one stolen 2 years ago and it paid off biggly.
Funny thing is, the 4 wheeler was over 20 years old so it paid even more because it’s considered “classic”"
Want to make sure we are talking about the same thing. Property insurance is one thing like if the atv/sxs gets stolen. I understand. I'm saying some people in other states on internet forums say, no one I know in person, have liability insurance like they are trying to atv/sxs in the city streets among traffic. I just can't imagine someone legit having collision insurance for an atv for farm work & hunting like they would a vehicle on the street.

You have liability insurance on your side by side? Do you ride on public lands or roads a lot?

ATV Registration

I'm in Louisiana. I bought an atv & got the decal to put on back of it. I use my atv 95% on private family land. Though I do have to use a public rural road for a few hundred yards to get to some deer stands. I got in my head on trying be as legal as I can be. Where do I put the registration document that the decal came on that list all my private info? Some websites say in a waterproof baggie or something in the atv while others say at home.
None of this has probably ever crossed y'all's mind & I am thinking way too hard but where do y'all keep y'all's registration docs?

"Superior Grill both locations, but especially Highland."
I went there today for carryout for work & they charge 15% gratuity for all carryout automatically. Such are the times I guess. Food was good, but no, not again.

Haha that's funny. I'm sure you have heard this old saying as many of us did. When someone saw a deer track it was the talk of the town back in the day.

Yes, my grandfather who was born in Union Parish in 1923 didn't shoot a deer until ~1960. Squirrels & rabbits were pretty much the only game in town lol. Maybe some quail back then too

I know most people have their phones these days but what if you want to hunt without a phone on a hunt. How then can you prove you have a valid stamp if you don't have the physical with you?

Not that it matters I’m kinda a history buff like you but Biden would not have been able to vote in 1960 at 18. They didn’t allow 18 year olds to vote until 1972 & weirdly Nixon got a lot of them. So yes, to OP all presidents but one has been baby boomer since ‘93 except Biden.

I remember some national show on TV I can't remember what it was called. Something like shocking things that really happened. And it was the mascot fight between the demon mascot & the indian mascot called war chief I think lol. Early '90s I believe that happened

Haha, glad to hear you are still rooting for them & I am not the only long suffering fan here.
Well in terms of the name change, I guess that helped us get into the Sun Belt conference by going along with the Cajuns so at least we got one good thing out of changing it!

Glad you support ULM. I do personally think the acronym NLU sounds so much stronger than ULM. But I can't cry over spilled milk. So you are a woman? Glad to see a female on the sports board! What was your reasoning for moving to Texas? Let me guess...job opportunities

Great observation on the flair. Believe it or not I changed it a few months ago. I had ULM on here since I joined TD. I felt after having a 10 game losing streak last year in football & another 6 game losing streak this year, then craping the bed in baseball & basketball that I wasn’t gonna rep ULM on here if this is the product.
I know seems silly to change something so minor but I was like I’m done. LSU consistently has success & they are my favorite “national” brand university anyway so I’ll rep them for awhile.
I’m not a fair weather fan I just can’t keep getting “figuratively” kicked in the groin with ULM’s disappointment.

It’s all good.
I’m just beyond frustrated with ULM athletics especially football. How do you have a team from 1994-2024 (since moving up to FBS) have 1 winning season in 31 years? If this were a professional team they would have closed shop & moved to another city decades ago.
This is sad but my one ask. Can we literally have 1 winning season that ends with a bowl victory? That’s such a low bar to climb.

I don’t agree with what you are saying. When ULM had short stints of “goodness”, fans were there.
I was there many games during our 2012-2014 era which is our best era since moving up to FBS. Even though it wasn’t amazing. The fans supported.
I just crunched the numbers. After we upset Ark in 2012 & lost to Auburn in OT the fans set record for most attendees in a game when Baylor came. So the team started 1-1 & we came. 31,175 there. More than Tech has ever had.
2012:19,359 average home. Finished 8-5
2013:17,035 average home. Finished 6-6
2014:18,108 average home. Finished 4-8
Not great numbers but good enough. Definitely good enough to not blame fans for “not showing up” to support the team to victory. At some point the team has to sustain success to keep the fans attention.
