My dad was good friends with Billy Tauzin and David Duke. Both really nice guys. We even held a campaign rally at our house for Duke.??

Worked a number of years with the husband of Lafayette mayor, Monique Blanco Boulet. My wife and her would take the kids to the zoo together and other activities while us husbands were working. We all hung out at an LSU football game suite. She was very nice but just a mom at that time.
Met Billy Nungesser the year before last in the Bacchus dressing room. He knew a good friend of mine, so he stopped by our dressing area. I introduced myself and he replied, "Hi I'm Billy" and that was it.

Billy Nungesser plenty of times. He's ok, he has really turned on the politics over the years.
Bobby Jindal - Sat next to him on a flight to New Orleans. Very nice, had a down to earth genuine conversation.
I briefly met Kennedy and Cassidy - nothing worth noting
Mike Bayham is a nice guy, easy to speak with. Did really like Ray Garfola, felt he was a bit fake.
Met plenty local government folks, none worth noting. My 5th grade teacher is on the School Board, nice guy ha.
Cassidy is an MD, so I am sure he is "smart". Bobby Jindal is absolutely intelligent.

One statewide politician I met a couple of years ago had quite the potty mouth (in a group of less than ten people) that were not all close to that person.
It was surprisingly foul.
I’m not a prude; but it was inappropriate.

I had lunch with EWE several times. I was good pals with one of his sons, and we'd go to the mansion instead of eating the cafeteria food. I thought he was one of the cooler dads I ever met.
I also went to Camp LSU with a current congressman. He wasn't very law-abiding back then. We laugh about it now, but his public persona is way over-the-top and quite boorish.

I've bumped into Trust Fund Graves a few times around town: driving his 1990s Toyota truck. His above ground swimming pool and tire swing in front of his house are what really get me. What a show off!
Wouldn't know me from Adam's housecoat, but bought me a coffee once since I had forgotten my wallet.
And used to see Kip around town surveying things on Saturday morning. Nice guy and loved passing a good time.

An old classmate’s husband ran for State,Rep.Good old boy,I liked him.Would go to their house to study with her,go out to their camp.
I voted for him of course,I really thought he was interested in the welfare of the citizens. All he did was go to B.R,got tight with EWE,got access to some “deals”,was given financial interest in nursing homes, etc.
Got pretty rich, was middle class before. Was vey disappointed in him.I always wondered if she had figured out his game, she was pretty smart. If she did didn’t seem to bother her,she was enjoying the good life.
