If, this is a big if, the independent voters have flipped on Trump and vote for the dems there won't be much of anything we can do no matter how strong our turnout is. That's the worst case scenario.

This place can be a bit of an echo chamber. The economy sucks for the average American right now and right or wrong Trump is the face of it. I think apathy has set in among many many people.
Hopefully people show up to vote, but I’m not optimistic.

Its not just flipping on Trump but doing that and voting for the dem. They could always just sit it out because the dems are insane. That's still a really bad scenario for us though.

She should be banished from every committee, caucus, everything. If Thune had balls, she'd be mothballed. She can vote, collect a check, etc. But have zero influence.

From a voting perspective you're not wrong, but her number in the R column is critical to ensuring That Republicans hold control of the chamber.
