Get a case in front of the court immediately.
That ruling is every bit as flawed Constitutionally as Roe was and every single slippery slope thing we said would happen has happened.
Degeneracy never stops. A degenerate gets off on breaking taboos and crossing lines. The more you "tolerate" the more aggressive they have to become.
Every single abhorrent, disgusting sexual practice under the sun is coming down the pipeline. They will try to legalize it, normalize it, and ultimate celebrate it.
incest, pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, etc
All that shite coming to an elementary school class room near you unless we start pushing the filth back into the sewer wear it belongs.

The easy solution is to eliminate government sanctioned marriage. No one participates anymore anyway. Not the purview of government.

Naw.
If the GOP tries to run on that, it will never win another election ever. That ship has sailed, get used to it.

instead of attacking Gay marriage, we need to get the government away from all marriages. Marriage shouldn't be defined by federal, state or local governments. It's defined by God, not man.

How about getting the government out of marriage period?
ETA: Many divorce laws were written to court the women’s vote in the 70’s and 80’s. It has destroyed many a good men and their children.

This. Get the government out of marriage.
The only reason a government should support marriage is to boost population growth and gay marriage is irrelevant when it comes to that.

Why? Get govt out of the marriage business all together, thats the solution.

I’d say no to this. Solely because I believe government should play no part in marriage.
Marriage is a religious rite, not a governmental one. Not enough separation of church and state in my opinion.

Amen.
Woe to those who not only do those things, but give approval to those that do.

JFC. Quit this shite.

Its easy call it something else other than marriage! Marraige is for man and woman. Same sex marrige is partnering up!
I keep my sanctity and they get what they want! Win Win for both right!
Gay people are so proud of their differences, They use stickers, rainbows, equal signs. But yet there is a difference. Why is this so hard to understand

Remove lawyers from politics. It will prevent the asinine law making that foments so much argument, hence fantastic job security for the law community.

You don’t think having legal recognition for next of kin and inheritance is important?

Thomas agrees and mentioned that in his concurrence:
After pointing out that substantive due process is an oxymoron he stated:

quote:
For that reason, in future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is demonstrably erroneous,” Ramos v. Louisiana, 590 U. S. ___, ___ (2020) (THOMAS, J., concurring in judgment) (slip op., at 7), we have a duty to “correct the error” established in those precedents, Gamble v. United States, 587 U. S. ___, ___ (2019) (THOMAS, J., concurring) (slip op., at 9). After overruling these demonstrably erroneous decisions, the question would remain whether other constitutional provisions guarantee the myriad rights that our substantive due process cases have generated.

No, it doesn't.
Marriage is either "blessed" by a God that exists or it isn't blessed. Whether or not a priest or pastor can make their union recognized by the state is not what's being debated.
We all agree people should have the RIGHT to partner whoever they want for life. When a human calls something a marriage is not when a God, if He exists at all, calls something a marriage. God, if He exists, does not care if a rogue clergyman gives them the ceremony.
Don't fight the wrong fights. Gayness exists and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Fight a fight that's worth your time.

I agree completely. But there is no politician that will ever take this up.

Good Lord, OP.
Roe was jurisprudential garbage. Obergefell has a solid 14th Amendment basis.
You are comparing apples and chevrolets.

No. Gays marrying =/= trannies reading to kids and the slippery slope is a bullshite reason to outlaw something.
The gay/lesbian people I knew in college were nothing like the attention seeking pronoun crew of today...they just wanted to love who they wanted to love and be left alone and they deserve that right
