there's probably plenty of men that post on the Rant that have a secret profile on Grindr....

Or have you been living under a rock in regards to children attending gay strip clubs or the chemical castration of 5 year olds?
None of this was made necessary by Obergefell and should be settled in their own right by their own cases, the outcome of which should be similar to the abortion debate: return to state legislatures for decision-making. Much of the issues in the trans debate stems from regulatory agencies pushing policies without input from lawmakers. West Virginia vs EPA has the potential to put an end to that forever.

You seem to think that morality isn't a legitimate reason for a law
No I'm saying that the "morality" arguments in this thread have not come close to giving a rational basis for the unequal treatment.

plenty of laws based on moral norms.
Which have more rationalization than just "muh morality".

Age of consent, nudity laws; I could go on and on.
Go on and there will be rational reasons behind generic justifications and emotional thinking. That's why the standard is "rational" and not "emotional":

Once you incorporate marriage and have the federal government involved, you open the door to decisions like Obergefell

Using only logic, and not your morality, tell me why I cant have an orgy in the park or walk down the sidewalk nude.

I never said morality had no place in the discussion. That's a straw man argument.
I said that within this thread, the morality-based arguments didn't come close to a rational justification.

I am pretty conservative and I do not care if gay people want to get married. Who cares!

Oh, so then an LED billboard showing hard porn would be ok, then. Or I could just have an orgy in my front yard. Right? Surely you live by your signature and don't want to force your morality on me, even though you've already admitted you'd use coercion to stop a child from going to a strip show.

instead of attacking Gay marriage, we need to get the government away from all marriages. Marriage shouldn't be defined by federal, state or local governments. It's defined by God, not man.

No morality based arguments will ever be a purely rational justification; that's my point. Yet we have laws based on moral norms. We always have and we always will. If you can't provide a rational justification for why men can go topless but women can't, or why some skin is ok to expose but some isn't, then why are you asking for one regarding the definition of marriage?
