He got downvotes because he was being a dick, and like clockwork, whenever there’s a scandal involving a church, his lot comes scurrying out like cockroaches mocking people for not being as shitty as he is.

Christians are to worship as God commands. The fact that Christians are also sinners doesn’t invalidate God’s commands.

Only about 30% of the world is currently Christian. While it's very difficult to estimate, it seems a safe guess to suggest that less than 10% of all humans that have ever lived have been Christian. Considering that simply saying you're a Christian out loud doesn't grant you eternal life, the number of actual Christians is significantly less than that.

We're looking at only a few percent (1, 2 or 3%?) of every human that ever lived making it to Heaven.

I'm glad this is all going according to plan. I'd hate to see the scoreboard if God was a frick up.

That's just it. These people were removed!!!

It's proven in this release they were convicted of the crime even. Reported in the news.

Where is the cover up.

Exactly. If sin (and even crime) is dealt with appropriately, I’m not seeing the issue. Sin exists in all institutions, and the integrity of the institution is not based on the existence of sin, but how it is dealt with.

Yes indeed. The only reason I even opened this thread is that I wanted to see if TD's resident commies would have an interest, and indeed they are here.

Jesus said, Himself, that broad is the way that leads to destruction, and narrow is the way that leads to life, with few people finding it. The large numbers of people who haven’t heard the Gospel are the very reason the Great Commission was given to Jesus’ disciples. It isn’t a secret club, but the numbers of true Christians (those with a saving faith in Jesus’ work on the cross) is small, compared to all who have ever lived.

Also, truth isn’t determined by the number of people recognizing it.

So, that's the best plan God could come up with? 95+% of humans burning for eternity?

Again, seeing the perfect creator put up numbers like that... I'd hate to see the scoreboard if he was a frick up.

The cover-up is also a sin, as we all know.

These institutions are more about self preservation than anything else. They're inherently evil

Hardly. I have to first believe it's moral to drown children. That seems the opposite of free, that seems impossibly expensive.

No it's not. The righteous religious folks will speak up against the corrupt religious. The righteous politicians will hold their tongues in order not to make waves.
