Pretty sure Mich requires their head coach to beat OSU

OSU hadn't beat Michigan since 2019 until this year. Just sayin.

Most of their future games are made up of ACC opponents.

Which the AD and director of football operations at ND gets to pick. The ACC doesn't pick their games for them. But now ND is pissed at the ACC because they didn't promote ND over Miami for the playoffs. It's past time for ND to join a conference and earn their way into the playoffs instead of being gifted into the playoffs.

Breyer had issued a temporary restraining order earlier this year seeking to block Trump's National Guard deployment from immediately taking effect, though the order was quickly stayed by the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

And now Breyer has issued another ro overriding the Ninth Circuit Court? Someone care to explain? Looks to me the article is leaving out some info.

I'll add one more. We weren't raised as being our parents best friends. I see that way too much in today's society.

13-10. It seems like neither coach did shite.

Would you say the same thing if the score had been 45-42?

but a special rule is fricking insanity.

You mean like the rule in the SEC that Miss. St. is the only school that is allowed artificial noisemakers at football games?

Their gripe is actually with the ACC, which is hilarious and ironic given that Notre Dame refuses to join them.

If they did then the ACC would dictate who ND plays in the conference. however, as of now these two guys get to pick what five teams to play in the ACC.

quote:

Notre Dame's football schedule is crafted internally by their athletic department, led by the Athletic Director (currently Pete Bevacqua) and the Football Director of Football Operations, in coordination with their NBC broadcast partner, to arrange home games and select quality opponents

Out of the five ACC teams ND chose to play this year here they are: Miami, NC State, Boston College. Pitt znd Syracuse.

Not exactly a trying schdule there. All the pundits with ESPN were wrong. They all said after ND's two losses at the first of the season that if ND ran the table the rest of the season they would be in the playoffs. Oops.

Football doesn't make sense for a sport where 99% of a game isn't kicked with the foot.

True. Maybe chunkball would be more appropriate.

Is this really the point to which political discussion has devolved?

I didn't see anything Christ-like of the video on the left. Did you?

"National Media Reaction"

So the same media that has for the last several years been bloviating to pay college athletes for their time spent on athletics are now saying that coaches shouldn't be doing the same thing in trying to get what they can? Yeah, frick the media.

NCAA needs a rule against coaching changes mid-season

I believe that would be known as collusion. Lawyers would have a field day in court if that were to happen. Anyway, I don't consider the last day of November as being considered "mid-season".

Macy's parade is for kids. Hence, all the balloons and kiddie stuff. Rose Bowl parade is for the older folks like myself. Floats and colors galore.

Yep. Younger generations don't always understand old folks references. I remember when cornholing had a very different meaning than tossing a beanbag in a hole in a board.

If you mean lack of concrete and tall buildings, yes. Personally, I like all the trees and being able to see a sunrise and sunset.

Didn’t Julian Assange say something about “when all is exposed, 98% of DC will fall”?

He sure did. Said he had enough info that if revealed would implode the U.S. government.
Best hustling team I've seen in a few years, so far.
MAGA cult. Of course that is the term used by print media and Dems in Ark. The 64% of us that voted for Trump just tell them to eat shite.
