I’m an independent voter; not affiliated with either party. I have spit my ticket many times. Considering we (Independents) continue to grow in numbers, it makes sense to me.
That’s what we did in GA in 2020, if I recall correctly.

It's not true, and you know it. You challenged the claim in the very thread you just linked and I answered you there too. No, the entire state did not go blue.
All I did was quote exactly what you said, I even posted a link.

Our company has offices statewide, including the rgv.
So 1) The hispanic community in the rgv was not happy with ice tactics. I heard about it constantly. Massive increase in turnout.
2) state is increasingly young transplants in big cities. They hated abbots 10 commandment in school, no abortion, no weed. They're hard-core dems.
3) farmers and ranchers were wrecked by trump
4) majority of the state experiencing inflation and opposed to war.
5) independents couldn't believe paxton was actually the candidate. His ethical issues widely known after impeachment and securities settlement. Establishment turned on him in support of cornyn. All he did was run scare ads and refuse to debate while talarico challenged him weekly to anywhere any time. And his ads were care for your neighbor, feed the sick young minister stuff
6) bo french texted the Indian texas game shite that infuriated that entire community.
Sum it all up and pubs were left with rednecks and old evangelicals. Old white religious racists dudes are done in texas politics.
This super combo punted every republican on the ballot. Talarico and Hinajosa drove turnout.

It was only yesterday that that frickin retard was trying to claim (across numerous posts and at length) that Trump is some sort of secret Russian agent.
Still trying to hold out on a bogus frickin narrative that was conclusively disproven years ago, yet still wants to accuse other people of being "conspiracy theorists" and posting images of tinfoil hats.
Projection is all losers like him have.
Conspiracy theorist extraordinare over here trying to claim that Trump is a secret Russian because he married two slavic women.

This place is all those lonely, unwise, and pathetic old men have. Pity goes out the door when they start acting up.

Actually, all the top Republican candidates received at or around the same level of support they have in the previous 2 or 3 elections.
The difference is… The dem/marxist candidates received almost 1 million more votes than Kamala Harris. I suspect because they were transformational candidates like Biden!
Talarico received about 600k more votes than kamala
Paxton received almost 2 million less votes than trump

Like pixels are not scary at all. Maybe kids today have a much lower fear tolerance.

In MS, KS, SC and GA Gubernatorial election it was bad candidates and a thought by the local parties that the (R) behind their name was enough. In Iowa Turek spoke to a lot of local issues. In Ohio the Republican went up against one of the savviest politicians alive right now. On paper Sherrod Brown and Ohio don't mix but he keeps finding a way.....also Ramaswamy's stupidity spilled over. In Maine, they were tired of Collins
NC and GA have become purple states over the lat 8 years and the Republicans throw up weak candidates. In NC it was always going to be hard to beat Roy Cooper, he was well liked by the voters and by Republican money guys. GA Senate is lost to the Republicans at this point.
In Texas you are seeing a long term change in the electorate as the state continues to be more urban. DFW is the fourth largest metro area, Houston is 5th and San Antonio is 24 th and Austin is 25th. Combined those 4 metro areas have close to 20 million people. Throw in the Hispanics in the Valley who are up for grabs and you have an environment that is more hospitable to Democrats. Paxton was not a bad candidate, he was a horrible candidate....I'm not sure with the current mood that Cornyn would have won either but he would have fared much better. Paxton got steamrolled. Hinojosa just ran a very good campaign. Also Abbott had outlived his effectiveness .
Getting Texas back is not going to be easy going forward for Republicans.
I was actually very surprised by how total the Republican defeat was in Texas. I thought that Paxton would somehow be machined in and Abbott would outlast Hinojosa

Solve their problems? My gosh, no wonder so many idiots vote dem. They think the government is supposed to “solve their problems.” We on the right want the government out of our way, and you worship at their feet thinking they’ll make your life easier. Definition of loser, victim mentality

It didn't go down like that. You know it. I know it.
Talafrico got 1 million more votes in the state of Texas in a midterm than Kamala Harris got in a Pesidential election. That is absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous and the truth will eventually come out.

1) The top 9 Republican statewide vote-getters were down-ballot candidates for land commissioner, agriculture commissioner and judges?
2) Suspended Democrat Felon won House District 93
