Entire Texas State Government Flips Blue! How Did it Happen?

I knew that Texas would eventually become a purple / blue state, kinda like California eventually did. But I never imagined it would happen so quickly and decisively! Democrats won every state election and took over the Texas house.

I heard there were 2.4 million more voters added to the rolls since 2022 while 4.1 million voters did not vote on Tuesday.
Complacency is a monster.

Apparently, after 30 plus years of Republican rule, even Texans start to think that maybe those guys aren't the going to solve their problems

It didn't happen. The GOP somehow, miraculously, retained a super majority in the state Senate. Better question would be, how could anyone not see that the elections were rigged?

Actually, all the top Republican candidates received at or around the same level of support they have in the previous 2 or 3 elections.
The difference is… The dem/marxist candidates received almost 1 million more votes than Kamala Harris. I suspect because they were transformational candidates like Biden!
For the first time since 1960… there were more dem/marxist votes in the Mid-Term than during the Presidential election.
Imagine that! I guess when you suggest God is non/binary, people are willing to crawl out of the grave to vote for that shite!

Wait, I thought the economy in Texas was booming? Now magically it isn’t after a .50 cent gas price increase lol I bet importing 5 million Hispanics will really get it booming on top of a state income tax!! Congrats on your stupidity!

"At least he's not as bad as the democrat candidate" is not enough to get the vote out anymore.
The Republicans in office need to actually accomplish some things that the voters want and not fixate on their pet issues that nobody cares about.

Foreigners take voting seriously.. and they vote overwhelmingly for the party they think they can one day control

Because Republicans ran an stupid campaign. They were scared and acted like it. They let the Democrats and media define the narrative as usual, and put nothing out their to contradict. I barely saw a single candidate add campaigning for themselves, it was all PACs or other people's testimonials.
Looser campaign.
I don't know if Republicans thought they had it won if they just got turnout or not. But it's criminal that they got beat so handily and did not see it coming.
Now, I hate to go there, but yet again something smells very fishy with how big Democrats won across every election. Candidates that never even campaigned beat hardened Republican incumbents in red districts. Something is off. Also the betting markets went hard for Democrats months ago, someone knew something??
