Elon Musk buying Twitter was great. What he’s done with it since, no so much

The premium crap is to expected (Don’t read this, Chicken), but the “verified accounts” function is a joke.
Somebody want to explain to me how JFK Jr has a blue check mark?
Now, though, every time I open the app, it dumps me back to the “Piss Me Off” feed (ie, “For You”).
I use the app for news, not conflict porn.
Elon has to make his 44B back, and constant outrage may be the way to do it, but don’t come at me with the “public forum goodwill” crap anymore.

there is good and bad. the bots are worse than ever. it's also more serious and less fun than it used to be, but that's a personal preference thing.

All platforms were restricting freedom of speech. A differing point of view was effectively silenced.
Without his purchase of Twitter, the US would look no different from Europe. It was a very distinctive turning point.
Other platforms lifted their restrictions and the truth about many lies against Trump were exposed.
Once Musk gave a voice back to the majority, the truths about COVID were heard and all the farce and masking rituals were openly mocked.
Freedom of speech is more contagious than COVID ever was. It spread liked a wildfire and the protected liars went into retreat.
An attack by France on Musk, is an attack on every free speaking American.
I will forever be grateful that when the darkness of speech suppression was covering all of America, one man stepped in and purchased a platform that was a symbol of the silence and lit the candle inside it that became a beacon of hope.

It’s amazing because we do get stuff out there buttttt there’s quite a few people and topics getting throttled. Election fraud, Indian fraud, and vaccine issues. Luckily there’s so many posting about it they can’t fully suppress it.

But why can't be be a verified poster on Twitter. He has voted straight Democrat since 1999.
If he can still vote, I don't see why he can't pay off Twitter.
And just FYI, the dead vote for all intents and purposes 100 percent democrat. It is an incredibly strong voting block for democrats.
This is a main reason democrats don't want dead people purged from the voting records.
Even if they used to vote republican while alive they flip and vote straight Democrat after they die.
And Congress, both democrats and Republicans alike are baffled by this. People like vor and 4 cubbies also can't figure this out and strongly support voting rights for dead people.
