I've said since it's inception that when it's all said and done Doge will have spent more on administrative costs and salaries than it will have achieved in realized savings.
I saw that “DOGE” is hiring. Who is paying for the salaries?

That's why "populism" has become so popular on the right and fiscal conservatism has gone to the wayside.
The only two figs who cry about this is you and Roger. The election is based off of populism to get the most votes by running the most effective campaign.

Not legally, but let's assume we can. Wont' come close to $2T. Probably won't come close to $1T.
A chart from the thread linked in OP (posted numerous times in other DOGE-celebratory threads)
Where on that graph are the hundreds of billions of dollars being sent to Ukraine, the Taliban / Al Qaeda, and USAID?

bullshite! Don't give Ukraine another DIME and watch the savings pour in.
Just don't touch muh SS check

DOGE will be a lobbying group under the guise of identifying costs cutting measures. They will probably find a lot of costs cutting measures through technology by using Larry Ellison's data centers, Elons fleet of cars and Space X, and Peter Theil's Palantir software.

And yet, people still identify MAGA/AF as "small government" and celebrated DOGE like it was going to fix our debt/deficit issues.

Ok I take it you don’t know where the money will come from.

Somewhere in the $1.7T discretionary spending

And, as I pointed out, the RINOs are actually doing this, and doing it in the proper legal manner.
I don’t understand what you’re trying to distinguish here.

unfortunately elections require people to talk in hyperbole
Don’t say that around slo Leroy Flo, if he can find hyperbole on the campaign, he will orgasm that Trump isn’t doing what he literally said

Did you miss the whole "Chip Roy and Thomas Massie are RINOs" movement because they were fighting spending increases?

I have not mentioned Trump ITT, other than to say I haven't mentioned him.

Oh well then, never mind.
Let’s just keep running $2 trillion deficits every year.
The fiscaly conservative, social libertarian must think it needs to be 2 trillion or bust. Anything less is not worth the effort.
Unless his real goal is really just a gotcha jab at DOGE and the incoming administration that he doesn't even support.

OH NO NeverTrump Bros and Ronfags!!! We might only get 1 TRILLION dollars in waste reduction!!!

Do you realize congress has not had a regular budget since 2007? Every budget since then have been CRs or CRs plus adders.
Remember the $800 billion dollar bailout in 2008? Well that money is still in these CRs but used for other things besides TARP. TARP finally ended in 2023.

It's not that it's not worth the effort. It just isn't going to really do anything.
And we only probably have 2 years to make progress, so cutting even $500B (which is a fantasy in itself) is like farting in a hurricane.
Again, go read the thread linked in OP from during the campaign and watch teh 180s

You think Roy and Massie are against this approach?

So if Ron would have won, he wouldn’t have been a populist garnering all the votes and he then wouldn’t be considered small govt? Jesus Christ you’re fricking retarded and ate up with tds.
