The polls showing a close race appear to have been wrong

This will be a big win for Letlow

don’t know LA election rules, but if you can vote early or do the mail in/dropbox type thing. It shouldn’t matter which day of the week.

All elections are on Sat except for Fed election days. There is an early voting period that ends one or two weeks before actual election.

Mail in ballots are very few and far between. Typically for military personnel who are stationed outside of LA or guard members that are deployed.

People are getting dumber.

Her career consists of her husband dying, taking a picture with Trump, and nodding like she knows what's going on in a commercial.

I'm assuming Davis has also been called as the D winner

Setting up Letlow vs. Davis (as expected) in November

Mind boggling to me why people would vote for new taxes.

Is that because it’s a college town? So you have a higher percentage of people renting vs owning?

Who would ever vote to increase their own taxes?

Another thing, renters don’t understand. As landlords (I do the shite for my mom’s rentals) we just pass the tax increase off to the tenants. They passed 3 tax increases here locally not too long ago. Next lease, I upped the monthly rate by $200 a month. Then we end up making MORE of a profit than before.

They put these tax renewals on low turnout elections to make sure they can mobilize their votes and get them renewed. It should be illegal. Should have to vote on these on major elections only

Not if the Fleming voters stay home.

Honestly, perhaps it would be best. Davis would serve no longer than 6 years. Letlow will be selling us out for 24 years.

And there it is....

Someone else already brought up that Fleming is from the Northern part of the state. Sounds like it's setting up that if Letlow wins today, a bunch of Fleming supporters are going to throw a tantrum and try to sabotage this, much like Abraham supporters did in that governor's election that got JBE re-elected.

Remember, the goals were to get Cassidy out, and to remain Republican in the Senate. Going D would be far worse than either choice from today.

There is no better example of how retarded voters are than this race

Cassidy was easily more conservative than this bitch.

and to remain Republican in the Senate
What does 'republican' even mean now? This is just another liberal white chick with an R next to her name.

Going D
We just went D, for a couple of decades. Little letters don't mean shite.

Congrats. We're the Tories now.

I’m not voting for Letlow in the race. I’m going to research Davis. I say that as someone who doesn’t vote Democrat. She’s done nothing to deserve representing Louisiana. Except for her Monroe people which is a dump anyway.
