Unfortunately his campaign is mostly race baiting and wanting to spend more. No way in hell I am voting for a race baiter who wants to raise my taxes.
And a lot of fear mongering about “racist MAGAs”
I saw this email he sent to supporters on FB:
Earlier this year, the Inspector General for the Department of Homeland Security conducted a surprise visit at Winn Correctional Center, an ICE facility (although more akin to a War on Terror black site), in North Louisiana.
What they found was shocking. A migrant stabbed with a pen, another choked out, and just last week they reported the 2nd migrant death in less than two months.
This comes on the heels of Louisiana's extremist Governor's remark, "we've got eighteen thousand acres at Angola prison, if it were up to me l'd send them all there for the rest of their lives."
This is the model of subjugation that
MAGA hopes to export across the country and it is being beta tested in Louisiana.
Abortion? Felony murder.
Homeless? Year in jail or treatment and a year of working off your debt with a state work crew living in work camps.
Immigrant? Torture or death at an ICE black site.
They wanted another House seat - MAGA sent the National Guard to New Orleans. They declared a 'State of Emergency. Cancelled our election. And erased one of our Black majority districts to make it majority white.
They hope we will be so scared that we don't stop their power grabs. They aren't stopping here. And if we can't defeat them in Louisiana, God help us all.
My name is Jamie Davis, I'm the Democrat running for US Senate here in

I'm not giving my vote to Letlow in the midterms. Trump is a moron for endorsing her. She will probably still win the midterms. I just can't in good conscience vote for another candidate like Cassidy.
Then don't vote.
Davis will be 100X worse than Cassidy, so if you can't vote Letlow sit this one out.

much like Abraham supporters did in that governor's election that got JBE re-elected.
I remember when Cooksey voters took their ball and went home.

I voted no on the taxes but in theory how much would taxes decrease if we got the no
I’m just gonna say that I looked at my property tax breakdown and like 1500 bucks of it goes to the schools and I feel like we could save some money by skipping the middleman and sending the kids to Angola

Voting for Davis just out of spite
Davis is a solid candidate.
He seems like the kind of Democrat that that party needs to pivot towards instead of the socialist scam artists that are in power now.

He’s too dumb to think for himself.
He will vote 100% along party lines

Was a Zachary school tax really voted down back in November... only to reappear today to win by like 62-38?

He is pretty smart for a farmer from Waterproof.

He will do that not because of his intelligence but because that is what is required of democratic politicians these days.

Just 89 precincts left to report
Letlow would need to get just about 20,000 of Fleming's voters in order to match the entire Democrat vote count from tonight

We’re finally getting a senator from northeast Louisiana.

are y'all trolling because that's my job
he wants like more medicaid and mentions "cancer alley" on his website which is fake
the people that put a pound of sugar and a packet of kool aid into a jar of pineapples are trying to blame the poor hardworking chemical plants for their health problems

No I have known Davis personally for over twenty years. Just because I know him doesn’t mean that I am going to vote for him. I will hold my nose and vote for Letlow this fall.
ETA: You must not be very familiar with Waterproof Louisiana. Characterizing someone as pretty smart for Waterproof is about like calling someone pretty skinny for fat camp.

I would normally agree, but this election had 20,000 more votes in EBR than the November election.

100% of the vote is counted
(You see California? That is how it's done... less than 3 hours)
Davis wins Dem primary 80-20
Letlow wins GOP primary 57-43
(Letlow needs to add < 20,000 votes to her total from tonight to win in November)
All 3 EBR millage renewals passed by roughly 65-35

I would have voted for Fleming but he tied himself so tight to the looney tunes in the Anti CCS crowd which we later found out he was funding as well as FAR LEFT billionaires was a complete no for me.
His supporters have tried to say it would have put a hurt on younger military members but Fleming helped kill reinstating aide to Vietnam Navy Vets they once had but VA said if they weren't on land in Vietnam, they didn't shiite for, FTR St Tammany Parish is major destination for military retirees due low property taxes and close to a major VA hospital in NOLA. I think that the only people in StP who voted for Fleming were the Abita Hippies.
It was a hold your nose and pick one not Cassidy for the primary anyway

Yes, but that election wasn't your typical November election. It was on a Sat with an LSU Home Football game and didn't have a single person on the ballot in EBR. It was only taxes.
The only tax that passed that day was a crime prevention district which had a whopping 8% turnout!
I wish they would pass a law for taxes and other issues that you have to have a certain percentage of voter turnout for the measure to be valid.
