Well, it seems like (“mob rule”) Democracy may have to go away for those who don’t like or can’t accept the results.

The Founders loathed and feared a pure democracy, and limited it within Constitutional constraints. Not everyone could vote back then. And immigrants had to pledge an Oath of Allegiance to the Constitutional Republic. Otherwise, people who produce nothing can just vote to seize the productive fruits of those who do. Kinda like the Biden’s. Or vote out and “fundamentally change “ the Republic.

Truth is subjective. Like Pilate said “What is Truth “. Might will always rule over Truth. At least until or if the promised “I am the Truth…” comes down in the clouds (likely nuclear) and unites Humanity under a common Vision.

That’s a long shot with a LOT of pain but I think it will happen.

Correct. The Roman occupation of Egypt forced Christianity on the Egyptians, closing temples and outlawing the worship of Isis and other Egyptian gods. This was completed around 500 AD

It fascinates me that Christians do not understand that the global spread of Jesus involved a very bloody campaign of killing and torture.

Interesting fact - Akhenaten (1350bc), father of Tut, is remembered for declaring that Egyptians all worship the same one god in the sky. This is the first recorded religious practice of monotheism. Egyptians eventually rejected this and took power from the pharaoh. His tomb has never been found, but some believe that he and his followers were exiled - or Exodus - across the red sea into Palestine where they settled and became the Israelites.

And what about Jesus' time in Egypt as a boy. During the reign of Herod, Mary & Joseph took Jesus to Egypt to hide. Jesus was raised in an environment not of Jews but Egyptians. It is why he was considered 'wise' to those in Israel on his return, because he had knowledge from an advanced civilization. He was able to gather crowds and philosophize his teachings influenced by other religions. It would have been fascinating to locals who had never left Palestine. The concept of a man being the son of a god or of a glorious kingdom in the next world are common themes in the Egyptian religions.

Christians do recognize this, but why the discussion of the negative side of Christianity 2,000 years ago as opposed to the deep slide into despair once Islam takes over as observed in modern day history.
