Rubio is passing the buck and throwing Musk under the bus. With the amount of government contracts he has/had the U.S. government should be able to completely control Musk. If Musk turned off their access it's because as Rubio said he was explicitly allowed to by the government.

Isn’t Starlink a private company? Why is it the left think private companies can only do whatever they want when it negatively impacts causes they don’t agree with.

This was my understanding. Starshield is the satellite network controlled by the US gov. If he messed with that network, maybe there's a case. Using Starlink for military purposes is a violation of ToS.

The Omar investigation has started something that Conservatives might regret. The Democrats must have something on Elon.

Correct, this is his out. He’s going to claim the gov did it. In fact he already did.

Yeah, they really broke new ground going after a politician running for office. Unprecedented. /handwank

It’s odd how real world events tend to unfold like a movie.

People will learn one day that there are two distinct systems involved here with different roles and customers.

No he isn't. Apparently you didn't read the article either.

No one claimed their access was turned off. It was slower for a few days. I'm sure none of us have ever experienced slow internet for a few days...

It was slowed down to the point that it was unusable for its defenses. Which is the point.

So “slowed down” and “access turned off” is just a semantics debate w the same effective outcome.

The board “libertarian” is going to eviscerate you for this level of stupidity. I’m sure he’s queueing up the post now.

Maybe the Z’s check bounced. I know if I don’t pay my bill they cut that crap off with a swiftness.
