I think Trump wants Russia to win/end the war and is putting his thumb on the scale accordingly. He doesn’t want the political blowback (although it’s pretty well known to everyone that he’s in the bag for Putin). The denial will only last so long and it’ll come out eventually.
The other option, Musk, would have so much collateral damage from such a blow to his companies credibility. Would be ultimately throwing away hundreds of billions in future gov contracts. I think he’s kinda nuts but that is insane self-sabotage.
You can stop responding anytime. Im trying to engage with you in good faith FWIW.

It's not a winnable war for Ukraine. Would be best to freeze the borders as they are. And then let the EU protect them. Situations are changing around the world. Let the middle powers handle it in Europe.

The only reason Ukraine still exists is because of Starlink. Why are people so fricking dumb?
Posted on 10/22/26 at 9:46 pm to mwade91383
Up to 167,000 Ukrainians have died. Up to 530,000 Russians. Do we want 500,000 Ukrainians to die? And what is the US to do to police that non NATO fight?

Democrats are pissed because Musk took their Twitter. Will never get over it. Otherwise Musk does amazing things.

I don’t really disagree w any of that.
Especially if they can continue to wage asymmetric war (drones, etc.) I don’t see any reason they can’t grind Russia into a permanent halt (w Europe, not the US, being the main support).
That seems like the best-case scenario. US/Trump capitulation to Russia (literally helping them win, like doing stuff like this) is unfathomable and absolutely terrible foreign policy.

How many Ukrainian military and civilian deaths are acceptable for your pyrrhic victory?

What difference does that make?
They’re the ones who refuse to let themselves be invaded and have decided to do whatever it takes to fight that off. They know way better than you and I ever will what Russian control looks like. Talk all the shite about Z you want, they’ve made it quite clear what they prefer.
I’d personally love the fighting to stop and find peace but I’m NEVER going to advocate for helping a brutal Russian invading force.
They’ve been our largest geopolitical rival going back 70 years, that didn’t change in 2022.

You are such a fkn idiot. Elon is the smartest man on this planet. You think his companies fail? Jesus Christ, I knew you were a raging liberal idiot, but my God, everything thing that guy touches turns to gold.

Then quit bitching about Elon Musk.

If Musk is intentionally crippling Ukraines ability to defend themselves (and it wasn’t Trump, although I think it was) then there’s a world of shite coming his way. And he deserves it.
Rogue unelected CEOs have absolutely no business making meaningful foreign policy decisions. This isn’t a controversial opinion for reasonable people.
But we have to find out what happened, and we will. And I’m pretty sure, this will end up being Trumps doing, not Musks…

You frickin' communist. You probably were a C student in political science.

C? It’s hard to believe you ever took a poly sci class at all if you’re throwing that around as an example of communism.
Foreign policy & national security has never been left to the private sector, and for good reason.

you're seeing in real time how the retarded fagot losers like mwade redirect a failed prophecy of being killed by trump's nazi gestapo onto the next thing that will continue them on their fake reality journey - now it's elon musk that they must destroy
Same thing, over and over.
