I've voted for a black man over a white man for president in the past.

I was democrat back then, but his race had nothing to do with it. At the time, I thought he represented me more than the white man.

Looking back on it now that I'm a big conservative, the white guy still didn't represent what I stand for today very well, but that's neither here nor there .

frick these racist mother frickers who just assume I vote based on race. I vote based on representation of my values and beliefs, and if that means that the republican candidate checks that box 10/10 times, then so be it. I don't give a flying frick what color the candidate is.

I wish someone on the national scene had the balls to ask about Hispanic Majority districts. They make up 20% of the US population, but we only hear about Black Majority districts, which make up 13% of the population.

The obsession with black everything in this country is blatantly racist, but yet people cheer for it.

Would I vote for a Clarence Thomas or a Dr. Benjamin Carson? In a heartbeat.

But, he certainly has me pegged regarding black con artists like himself or that idiotic "preacher" from Memphis I saw yesterday for the first time. Why would I vote for trash like Cleo Fields?

And, obtw, I voted against Cassidy this past Friday. I don't care what color a corrupt POS is. They all need to go.

White people would love a Black leader who cut straight to the most pernicious, divisive and dangerous issue which plagues current racial dynamics. Such being the utter destruction and low to no standards of behavior which LBJ's "Great Society" has wreaked upon what was formerly virtuous and righteous Black family structures. The interracial, sociopathic violence, having babies for $$$, spiritual stagnation that defines current cultural ("Hood") norms and the Marxist strategy of 'divide and conquer' has destroyed any 'implied social contract' as Americans and put us on the edge of race-based conflict if - God forbid - any kind of natural or human infrastructure calamity - were to happen. Katrina being a prime example.

I honestly thought that Obama could have been that Leader, and I cautiously voted for him the first time. And had to write public apology letter to my local newspaper. Naive me. Live and learn.

I pray that an extraordinarily brave, honest and charismatic Black leader will arise out of the masses. But I think that only Jesus could deliver that; and generally, Jesus gives up a chance to do what we should do to make our Creator proud of OUR accomplishment, instead of waiting on him to bail us out. He created us for OUR ability to share love, and not his desire to be worshipped, as Lucifer falsely assumes. Like the sum total of ALL Universal Energy/Intellect would play Ego games. Geez.

Dems love to toss around accusations about conservatives not voting for people because of their race, ala Kamala.....ignoring the fact that Kamala, for example, was an awful candidate and awful person. It has nothing to do with being a woman or a person of color. In fact, there were thousands of people voting for Kamala ONLY because she was black or Indian or a woman. No other qualifications necessary for them, which is really stupid. It isn't the conservatives who are racist, Cleo.

I wouldn't vote for a democrat in a Federal Election, nor for a statewide election.

But i would (and have voted for a democrat in a local election, including Kip Holden in his first election as mayor)

But since 95%+ of blacks are dems, then my options for voting are limited to mostly non-blacks

What's his beef exactly? He got elected, right? I bet there were a bunch of white people that voted for him to make that happen. He wants people to vote for him because he's black, and that's racist, entitled nonsense.

Louisiana Rep. Cleo Fields says, “It's progress. But it's not progress for Louisiana. There are people who, in this state and others, just will not vote for a Black person for anything.”

And? There are also those who want to vote only for a black person. Neither is a good idea, but there's nothing illegal in whatever criteria a voter is using to vote.

What's illegal is to gerrymander a district based on the unsubstantiated belief that such an overwhelming number of those voters exist that it acts as de facto racial discrimination. This is no different than saying that because there are few, if any, female garbage workers that there must therefore be sexual discrimination in hiring practices.

See also, also: NFL linemen

If the black community put as much effort into crime that kills a large amount of their own youth instead of swallowing the shiny hook the national democrat party dangles in front of them for them to parrot the message... the nation would be ten times better off.

I would gladly vote for the right black candidtae.

However, if someone else had the policy of never voting for a black person because of racism or any other reason, that is their right. Racism is not illegal and if everyone deserves a vote, they also deserve to vote for whomever...whyever.
