I was born and raised in the port city. I left. Everyone I went to school with that ended up worth a shite left. Only people who stayed are a handful that inherited a family business. They always said don’t let the young people leave out of town to vacation b/c they all will leave if they see other people don’t have to watch their back to be robbed while pumping gas…
