I wish someone on the national scene had the balls to ask about Hispanic Majority districts. They make up 20% of the US population, but we only hear about Black Majority districts, which make up 13% of the population.
Thank you! I've been waiting for someone to say this out loud. Minority does NOT mean "black". But, Democrats have successfully taught everyone that it does/should. Great post!

So stupid
I happily voted for Larry Davis

Was Cleo the guy who literally had cold hard cash in his freezer or was that Bill Jefferson?

I've voted for a black man over a white man for president in the past.
I was democrat back then, but his race had nothing to do with it. At the time, I thought he represented me more than the white man.

And there are people in LA that will not vote for a republican for anything. And there are some people in LA that will not vote for a white person for anything. What's your point Cleo?

Voting for blacks.. racism again.
Vote, Black, revolution.
I am beginning to see a trend.

Elbert Guillory did pretty well but it would seem blacks would not support a republican.

By this he means, ''Black Liberal Democrat"
Cleo doesn't consider Conservative African-Americans "Black"

White people would love a Black leader who cut straight to the most pernicious, divisive and dangerous issue which plagues current racial dynamics.
Exactly. An honest black person with integrity can't be nearly as easily dismissed when they stand up and tell the truth about race-baiting rhetoric against white people coming from either blacks or other, woke-joke white fools like a Jane Fonda.

Cleo Fields is probably a big reason for that

I do have a problem voting for someone who is on FBI surveillance taking a $20K bribe like Cleo
CBS left that out for some strange reason.

Cleo’s just mad that he’s going to have to vacate his plush office in DC and go back to being pissboy at brother Wilson’s law office.

No, Cleo was the guy caught on FBI surveillance video taking $20k in cash from Edwin Edwards.

I am sure that came as a real shock to Kip Holden's family.
Or SWB.

I don’t vote for black people… but it’s not because they are black… it’s because their policies have always sucked.
Find me a black man with conservative policies and I’ll vote for him.

How stupid is that dude? No wonder they had to have a "special" district for ignorance to finally play out. Such districts do not promote brilliant ideology or thought. Now that the playing fields are being leveled and once again set up for the best ideological or intelligent representation, how does it not help us all?

I’d love nothing more than to fill Congress with 535 Clarence Thomas types
