It has to be the former. I think she was already well on the way, but Charlie's murder sent her over the edge. When it comes to his murder, she can't see anything clearly.

I think people should stop giving her a pass by saying his murder sent her over the edge out of grief. She is dancing on his grave. Grieving people don't do that.

I stopped listening to Candance Owens a few years ago because she became too shrill. I missed this transition from shrill to crazy.
Her documentary, “Convicting a Murderer” in answer to “Making a Murderer” was actually pretty well done. There’s no way she would make that documentary now. Her steel trap assumption that all government conspiracies are just the tip of the iceberg just would not allow it.
