I’m out of the scene, attached to a sweet, center-right believing, but apolitical Georgia girl. It’s a good fit. But I’ve wondered what dating must be like in today’s political climate.

How far the “other way” on the political spectrum could you swing? Dealbreaker issue?

Democrats are unattractive and are evil, mentally, or ignorant.

I can’t think of any better reason not to want to date or marry someone like that.

I’m out of the scene, attached to a sweet, center-right believing, but apolitical Mississippi girl. It’s a good fit.

I couldn’t respect my wife if she was an airhead prog. Luckily she’s MAGA all the way.

Today, the parties’ values are so different that it would be tough to find someone whose values were close to yours if they were on the other side of the aisle. The aisle got a lot wider since I was in the dating scene.

True to a degree.

I married a somewhat apolitical woman whose views trended right on some issues.

Other choices in general range from “generally clueless about politics” to “stridently leftist.” And the latter was a non-starter because leftism replaces religion for them and I don’t like to be proselytized regularly.

No, I do NOT want to hear about how Al Gore is our lord and savior…

Core values such as hard work, self reliance, and respect for the law should be deal breakers.

Unfortunately, leftists don’t seem to value any of those.

At 58 years old and chronically ill I'm out of the dating scene but I won't even waste my time conversing with the enemy. That is what Dims and Progs are nowadays, the enemy.

They are in violent opposition to what it means to be an American. They condone everything Un-American, support Anti-American ideals and persons. That is incompatible with me in every imaginable way.

At this point in my life I wouldn't pee on LibProgFilth if they were on fire.

I’m married, but a far right individual would be
a deal breaker. I find their views to be repugnant. Thankfully, my spouse is more liberal than me. We have disagreements, but we move on. If it was a far right individual, it would be grounds for divorce.
