Do you personally know any muzzies? In Oklahoma City, Baptist Hospital named one of their wings after a Muslim doctor.

He was a renowned heart transplant surgeon who extended the lives of many Christians.

Even so, when he tried to open a mosque in one of the lilly white suburbs of OKC, Christians threw a fit.

That’s a pretty big assumption.

You’re going from “some Muslims are aggressive about their beliefs” to “this specific guy praying near a church must’ve had bad motives.”

Why?

Maybe he needed to pray and happened to be there. Maybe it was a quiet spot. Maybe he was just… praying.

Here’s a simple question: if a Christian quietly prayed outside a mosque, would you automatically assume hostile intent? Or would you say, “he’s just practicing his faith”?

If your answer changes depending on which religion is involved, then this isn’t really about behavior. It’s about bias.

Muslims actually revere Jesus. Much more so than Jews do.

Are you sure he is Muslim? C-Store employee is more likely to be Hindu.

No, that’s my liquor store guy. He’s always watching Bollywood shows when I go in.

Which makes me wonder, are there any Muslims who own or work in liquor stores in America?

Dearborn, maybe?

I know in bama, the ones that are independently owned, apart from ABC, are all Indian type folk. The C-stores near me that aren't corporate, like Circle K, are a mix of Indian type folk and persians/muzzies.

"Must have had bad motives"? I said "in today's world". Sorry, too big of a simple coincidence to be realistic. Giving you every possible explanation, he still just happens to stop in front of a Christian church? In today's world, a coincidence?

I think you're just splitting hairs. There's a time and place to make this point you're making but this thread ain't it, brother.

A form of imitation? Imitating what?

Posting can sometimes be intimidating.

Bubba, the thread is about a pastor telling a Muslim to go pray by a dumpster.

Discussing whether that reaction was reasonable isn’t “splitting hairs.” It’s the whole haircut.

“In today’s world” isn’t evidence. It’s suspicion. You’re basically saying, “I don’t believe it was innocent, so it probably wasn’t.” People pray in random places all the time.

If a Christian quietly prayed near a mosque, would you automatically assume some hostile agenda? Or would you allow that he might just be practicing his faith? Because “too much of a coincidence” isn’t really proof. It’s just your assumption.

Ten years + ago, this would be a nothing burger. However, in today's world, with Muslims being super aggressive in pushing their faith / beliefs across the country, it's hard to give this Muslim a pass on his intentions. What possible reasonable reason could he give for what he tried to do where he did??? His faith led him to pray in front of a Christian church??

Yep I agree. This is a no-brainer. He can go pray somewhere else.
