The above Link solves the dilemma of art/value. Supposedly so.

From the 45 steps to implementing communism in America. 22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings," substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms. 23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. " Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
What a beautiful and uplifting ideology.

That is a Jean-Michel Basquiat Painting.
One of the biggest phonies in the art world. Died of a heroin overdose. His sisters are getting rich off his bad art.

That's actually a good painting. 110 million good? I dunno, but good nonetheless.
Holy shite, your schtick has worn threadbare.

Art is money laundering.

$110 dollars good… Maybe $1,010 good… But definitely not $110.5 million good.

That would be about all I could spend but otherwise I really like it.

Nah. That's creatively arranged garbage.
^^^ THIS ^^^ is a good painting. The artist's use of color and ability to complete capture the inverse to perfection, is otherworldly.

It's amazing the narcissism the left is in every field. They think whatever they want, is a must have and can't be touched or messed with in anyway.

I wonder if I could get a similar valuation for this:

I see crap like that and it makes me wonder if I'm missing something, and the answer is always "NO".
I like to catch episodes of "Antiques Roadshow" on PBS and every once in a while someone will be shown with a so-called work of art that looks like an autistic 4 yr. old got into the paint and got tired of it after 10 minutes and then the appraiser says it's worth $20k-30K and I just shake my head in disbelief.
It really takes no talent to splotch a bunch of different colors on a canvas and give it a pretentious name.

The Kennedy Center declined to comment on ticket sales or artist cancellations.
Ticket sales down due to NGO purses drying up from loss of USAID funds. If Taylor Swift can sell out stadiums a year in advance of a pop concert, a true artist's work could support their message if it was worthy.

We the people, the taxpayers, that fund all this shite should be the only ones that matter.
All the folks surviving from our tax dollars and contribute nothing, shouldn't be able to vote.
