Anyone who is for increased minimum wage tell me why we shouldn't jump straight to $100/hr

Why should we stop at $15/hr. I mean $100 and everyone can live comfortably. Right?

I'll sit and listen.

We should just go with each according to his/her/its ability...

Great point!

If anything, the minimum wage should be lowered to inspire people to get educated and get a better job.

Probably should be done away with.

I would prefer UBI at $10k/month.

It's a bit of a cut from your $100/hr, but I'd rather not work.

Everyone should have UBI, so kind of, yeah. We're going to see UBI and the 20 hour work week soon. There's no avoiding it.

Yep. What a person gets paid is between that person and their boss.

I would get a TON more done with this, but I digress.

We need to be more inclusive. Everyone should be able to afford $500k homes.

Also, taxes should be regressive. Tax the frick outta the first $10k in annual income (like 92% rate) and graduate it all the way down to 0% tax over, say, $250k/annually.

No better incentive to bust as than keeping more of your money.

Comfort is relative.

Every American lives comfortably compared to people of 500 years ago.

I was watching an interview on CNBC from some guy who said essentially that the US government could print enough money to give everyone in the country a million dollars and the truth is, that nobody knows what would happen to our economy if that happened.

And would pay more in taxes, resulting in more income to the government. Win Win.

This is a perfect question. If a liberal tries to argue why it shouldn’t be $100/hr, they will be in effect explaining why $15 an hour is a stupid idea.

My God, liberals are morons.
