Why is this seemingly so bad along the gulf coast region? Last year we bought the idea that Mardi Gras caused the high rates. What is the reasoning now? Why are our rates so high?

I'm just not worried about 1400 people in the entire state. By the way, it's practically the same amount as there was in January, another short-lived spike.

Well, this strain is highly contagious so we should reach something approaching herd immunity soon.

I would believe medical professionals more if they would call out their colleagues who are artificially creating panic through lying to the public.

Every hospital claims max capacity due to covid.
No one knows a single person seriously ill with covid, let alone someone in the ICU.
