Really pisses me off that gun crime is only a problem in Democrat cities amongst Democrat populations, yet the legally-purchased AR in my gun safe is their target.
You're right, but it's not even ALL Democrat controlled cities that's responsible for gun deaths. I can't find the exact statistic right now, but I've read that something like 20% or so of US deaths from guns come from only four cities: L.A., N.Y. City, Baltimore and Chicago.

You're right, but it probably won't even require a simple majority. The Biden administration will probably do as much as it can using Executive Orders. Certain types of "weapons" will be classified as "high risk" and will be tagged w/ a special tax (remember the "luxury tax"?) w/ the purpose of pricing them out of existence. They can try a similar tact w/ ammo and the components used in handloading, i.e. bullets, brass, gun powder and primers. They don't even have to come for the guns, just come for the ammo and handloading components.

Even this dumbass Administration knows they can’t ban by EO. It also gives them no political cover. They won’t go gun banning without Congress.

They won't outright ban by EO, they'll nibble at the edges to make it really hard to own and shoot guns/hunt. Look at the EO's the Administration's already enacted that many folks would've never imagined. At this time, they don't appear to care about political cover on a number of topics.I hope you're right and I'm wrong.
They've already told us the things they'll try to outright ban: "weapons of war", "assault weapons," "high capacity magazines," etc. Of course, they'll have a very broad definition of w/ their definitions to include a lot more guns and such than gun owners would've expected.
I wholeheartedly agree w/ you!

They don’t have to ban anything, SCOTUS has already determined that congress has limitless power to tax, all they need to do is make gun and ammo ownership financially prohibitive.
Enjoy your paperweight.

Come on man. I'm not one to overreact at government conspiracies, but it's not like the AWB didn't happen already in '94.
They will absolutely do that again along with high cap mags and buy back program. It's not a shock to say they will outlaw current ownership of such a gun as well.

The NRA has filed bankruptcy.

Ok. Statistically where does the super vast majority of all of this happen?

So the only reason the 2nd Amendment exists is because of the NRA lining Republican's pockets?

Someone needs to get a Million Gun March on Washington, DC organized.

Yeah, that would end well

C
Yeah, "assault weapons" were banned at the time so they used 2 illegal sawed off shotguns. a 9mm Intratec handgun (w/ multiple large capacity mags) and a Hi-Point 9mm carbine. At the time, high capacity magazines were banned and hard to find, but the Hi-Point used legal, 10 round magazine. They had #13 mags. Of course, the bombs they made for their primary weapons were also illegal. The desire of the Dems to ban "assault weapons", large capacity mags, "weapons of war", etc. will have no effect on crime, gun deaths or mass shootings.
