I don’t know and wouldn’t have any way to find out. Even people I know at the hospital aren’t getting any information.

If that note is true, then it could certainly have more than one meaning. Sad.

If there is any silver lining he was physically in great shape. Hopefully his body will help save the lives of others due to donation to science and/or organ donation.

Daily Comet Link

Never met him but watched his show regularly. Can't imagine going through something that would make me consider taking my own life like that.

I wonder if given the circumstances there would be rules disallowing his organs to be donated. Like doing so might encourage more suicide from other distressed people.

truly sad news, RIP Sir and tight lines

I ran into Mr. Tony several weeks ago at Bourgeios' Specialty Meats. Complimented his show and what he does to promote fishing throughout LA. With a gleeful smile, he responded ... " 'Preciate it, I have the best job in the world"

I too will miss his humor, and his recipes were legit. Glad that his shows can still be watched on YT

He sat at our table at the SCI banquet in Lafayette a few weeks ago and donated a guided trip to be auctioned off. He was a great guy.

If that's true then I hope he had the decency to identify the person he killed. Accident or not, the authorities and the family deserve better. I watched his show regularly and he seemed like a good guy, but it seems like there will be at least two families grieving from this.

First. Someone who is suicidal usually does not think that way. They are not in a rationale state of mind.

Secondly. You gonna tell some kid whose life could be saved by an organ transplant that he can’t have it because the donor was a suicide?

Man definitely sad news, his show was so much better than any of the other outdoors shows about Louisiana.

Sending prayers to the families

Damn, sucks if true.....
