re: What's on the agenda this week?

Trim my yews
Spray my beds
Fix a few fence boards

Luckily I got alll my yard cut before the rain yesterday
Yeah I finished cutting and cleaning up about 10 min prior to arrival, so the cold beer on the back patio hits the spot
Hopefully you guys are getting some rain, because I’m seeing it for the first time in a month in west BR. The glow up around town is gonna be awesome after this
What’s crazy is that would have LSU featured twice in the first 3 weeks, and we still have an incredible home schedule that could be massive matchups later in the season. Could we get a 3 peat this year?

Including pets. Putting my sweet boy to rest in the morning and it sucks. 12yrs by my side
I actually like Coastal. Food is decent and it's otherwise just a really great spot on the beach with good drinks too.

OSOs for a nice casual meal on the bay
Big Fish if you want something a little nice. Great sushi here
Voyagers is a great meal for a date night or special occasion
Zekes is a nice setup if you want to be close to the beach

Went to TinTop recently and had a great time.
Just give me a solid afternoon or 2 of rain at this point is all I'm asking. My house in BR hasn't had a rain drop in at least 3 or 4 weeks

How am I crying? I've lived in this heat for nearly 40 yrs, just wondering if there's any "cool" mornings on the horizon. I'm aware that daytime highs won't come down until October.
Not just 10day on weather.com. I'm talking about some basement dweller weather nerd predictions on when we will catch a break soon.

I stay on top of my yard (.4 acres) pretty good and my SRM 225 is all I need. I’ve had it for 7yrs now and never had an issue with it. Speed feed head plus .95 string makes things easy
I’ve gone down the rabbit hole following Andy Glaze and his ultra marathons. The running is cool and all, but his stories on how he recovers are always great.

Those guys are mental
It's either geckos or frogs that shite all over my window sills on my pack patio and on the walls in my garage.
Yes. They sell them with fixed ends as well.
+1 for the flexzilla, particularly the ones with the swivel grip.
I've got some in my new (to me) house and I was up in the attic 2 days ago and noticed it was significantly cooler than the rooms below that had no AC running.
I feel like my job sites get rain, but my house in BR never does. Not ideal.

Looks like a hot/dry SOB for the foreseeable future. At this point, I don't even roll up my hoses in the yard.
10-4 this house is new to me as of April so I’m trying to get a hold on some weeds, and I’m not sure about what was done previously.

Spurge may be new, not necessarily regrowth.

Here’s some lawn shots from a few weeks ago. Looking good, but there’s a lot of hidden spurge and nutsedge in there. Overall pleased with it but would like to cut it lower but my push mower doesn’t like to, and I don’t want the initial scalp look on my Bermuda.

Celsius knocked down the VBW pretty good at my house. Now if could just rid the nutsedge which I haven’t sprayed yet.

Any suggestions on getting rid of spurge? I’ve sprayed it with Celsius but it keeps popping up.

Wait until the hype train gets going in a few weeks and then gameday to kick the season off will be incredible
I mean hell all im asking about is re paving, that’s not monumental. I don’t care about widening,

I mean hell, half the center line paint is missing from Perkins to highland
So it’s still in the right of way acquisition phase with no mention of improvements to the current roadways.
