In my home, case by case basis. (Is it 4am and the lights are off? Am I drunk and/or high? Does my leg hurt? Are there guests over and I don't want them listening to me pee?)

I sit at home sometimes but never in public. Idk why but my spray is wide sometimes and I’m too old to be pissing on the seat man

Unless you are already sitting for number 2 or physically struggle to stand…why not just stand?
Being able to quickly use a urinal without dropping the pants is an actual male privilege. And it’s a big part of why you usually don’t see lines for the men’s room.

Health reasons are valid reasons. Bad prostate, bad knees or back, etc.
But otherwise standing to pee is the best way to get in and out quickly.

When standing up, I often find splash droplets on the floor or shoes, even when hitting the bowl. But it certainly is a lot quicker and less hassle.
