No surprise - even the NYT is admitting there is a "bad news bias" to coronavirus reporting in US media. From my vantage point I see the real-world picture of what is going on, and the vaccines are making a huge (as expected) impact.

Not going to matter unless hospitalizations are unmanageable and they’re not.
Testing is going well and vaccinations are being administered efficiently. I’m sure we’ll be entering a new phase of vaccinations too so that will get us to normal before Memorial Day.
For all the criticism of JBE, he is governing over an incredibly well run response to this pandemic. We are making our neighboring states look like 3rd world countries when it comes to testing and vaccinations and recovery rate.

You challenged the logic behind the poster not getting a vaccine when his parents did. I pointed out your flawed reasoning.
But, in regards to your question, I think it is unethical and immoral to force someone to take a vaccine that has not met FDA approval.

New Orleans and Baton Rouge are going to hang onto this shite as long as they can. Most other places around Louisiana have been done for a while. Go to a baseball game in Lafayette and you will not see 1 mask. Go to a LSU game and masks everywhere.

We are at around 400. That is 150 less than the VERY FIRST DAY WE STARTED RECORDING HOSPITALIZATIONS A YEAR AGO.
That is like 2000 less than the peak and we weren't overrun then.
We are fine.
