Going back to phase ta-two? This shite will never end.

So from 400 a day to 500 a day for 2 days?
Posted on 3/24/21 at 5:51 am to Loaner1231
Remember when all the Lefties were talking about how Texas and Mississippi would be ‘stacking up bodies’ after the 2 states ended their statewide mask mandate?

Toya must not have gotten as many stimulus funds as she thought.

IRS finished auditing another year of her taxes, she just needs more now.

Gotta shut down Easter services again.
Get people out of church and get them in front of a media device instead. Spread the gospel of government as savior.

But everyone is getting vaccinated?
I told y’all last year and ever since then, no this won’t end- EVER. Unless we get a new governor, we will not see an end to these restrictions. The slimy cocksucker is not giving up his control over the citizens.

Such unfair journalism.
Yesterday's numbers were 709 cases BUT out of 21,235 tests!
Positive rate: 3.3%
I hate the media!

Why are people still getting tested?

If they try to roll back restrictions again I really hope people lose it.
Everyone around us is wide open and having no problems. This is beyond stupid at this point.

In this backwards arse state? Prolly not. Two people at my entire workplace are getting vaccinated, no one else is.

I wasn't clutching my pearls lardo. Just making a statement.

I was on a conference call for Blue Cross Louisiana yesterday that was explaining the newest Obamacare actions taken by the stimulus bill.
Anyway, the presenter as an aside, mentioned that the stare already had HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars from the fed gov earmarked for schools and businesses to help reopen. The state has spent zero.
Like we’ve all talked about, they’re milking this puppy for all it’s worth.
Separately, there are only two insurance companies in LA selling on the marketplace. Fed government has allocated much more money for higher incomes to qualify for a subsidy. Open enrollment is indefinite. Essentially meaning you can wait until you are sick to get insurance. And when you do get it, the government will be paying for it. Here we go single payer! It’s happening right before our eyes.
Couple other points now that I’ve fully hijacked this thread. Businesses with more than 20 employees will be forced to upfront pay for their employees Cobra at a zero premium if the employee chooses it. The fed will credit it on their tax return. You know how fricking expensive that is?
Also, what typically happens when a person estimates their income for a year to receive a subsidy, when you file your taxes, you have to pay the difference or get a refund.
In other words, if you overestimate your income, you receive a refund on portions of what you’ve paid to include any subsidy
that you should qualified for. If you underestimate your income however, you have to pay back the subsidy that you didn’t qualify for, potentially a ton of money. Now, you won’t have to pay the difference. If you’ve already filed your taxes this year, the fed will refund you a check. My family alone is $4000.
Sorry for the rambling but I figured this all tied together. I don’t see how we stop this train.

What’s your point? Does everyone at your workplace qualify for the vaccine? Did you get the vaccine? Does everyone at your workplace get the flu shot every year?

Agree. Just another reason why we bring it upon ourselves.
My son just got kicked out of school for a week and a half because a classmate tested positive and my son sits “near” him. My son shows no signs of being ill. School said he can come back in 5 days with a negative test or 8 days with no test and no symptoms. We’re doing the 8 days because god forbid he actually tests positive while showing no signs and then it submarines our other son and then more kids at school. I believe they WANT more positives tests for $ and control- it has nothing to do with safety.

A statement was made that everyone was getting vaccinated and cases are still going up. Everyone is clearly not getting vaccinated.
And yes, unless I've read the newest eligibility requirements wrong we all qualify.

LDH Covid Dashboard
Well that just doesn’t follow the science or data at all.
