Can you prove to me that the machine was not malfunctioning when players were losing?

Of course not. No one can. If there are no tilts, the machine is working like it should. Simple as that. Can you prove your car isn't malfunctioning with zero lights on on your dash?

Ok.

So when did this machine start malfunctioning?

Was it for this one spin or did it begin immediately after its last maintenance?

Was it malfunctioning for every spin where the house won?

Had 2 clients got same bs technical problem at casino in kinder . One was a nun! One jackpot just under 300 K other around 175k. 6 months apart but on same exact machine. Hired expert to examine it but strangely it disappeared. I would reveal more but signed confidentiality agreement.

For a large jackpot, if you read the game rules are paid as an annuity over 20 years.

I don't know about that... what's considered a large jackpot??? I know someone who won 250k on a slot machine.. he got the money minus taxes and child support arrears

Biden has fricked the economy so bad that casinos can’t even afford to pay out slots. Damn.

It says ballys casino. They've been losing their sports rights out of refusal to pay out the contracts as well

This kind of thing happens a lot. I don't gamble at casinos for this reason and many others. However, I will play poker on occasion.

I'm pretty sure most of the payouts are planned and they can just look at the data from the machine. Gaming laws in most states are based around certain defined winning rates, so anything above that is void due to violating the law. This is how they always can get money back if they suspect some type of cheating/grift at card games, too.

At the very least, slot jackpots automatically get reported to somewhere in the casino. You don’t have to notify the casino when one hits to get someone to come pay you.

So there should be a record of that if it’s legit.

It depends on the game rules and probably for something over 500k or a million.

The other caveat is that as much money that can come in, I would doubt some smaller places if they had a million readily available in cash. Heck some of the smaller riverboats in Louisiana barely pull in 3-4 million in a month.

If you won over a 100k they may want you to take a check for the rest.

Wide area progressives like this are paid out by the company that manufactures the machines, usually IGT, not the casino. Like the lottery you can choose to take 20 year annuities or a smaller lump sum.

Last year I had a lady hit a 1.2 million progressive and she was pissed when IGT told her she’d be getting $60k a year for 20 years. “Well what if I don’t live another 20 years?”. “Then you’ve got bigger things to worry about.”

She ended up getting around $800k in a lump sum.

But yeah in this case, Bally’s wouldn’t have to pay a dime to this lady if she won, so they have zero reason to make up a malfunction.

This is rather rare though most people don't ever get paid for a "reel tilt".
Jamarcus has spent seven figures on Lean to experience this.

Yes, this is how it works. Several casinos are all in the consortium. The consortium pays the winner provided everything verifies.

The casino wants you to win. They want big winners like this on their property. It helps their business,

The old “machine malfunction”, happens pretty often. But never when you lose.

So Bally's is like an insurance company.. they'll gladly take your money but don't want to pay out.

Woman should be paid.

Casinos should carry insurance for these circumstances.

If the machines are reliable some insurance company would take their premium.
