Court should rule that, because the casino doesn't know when the Tilt started, they need to track down and reimburse everyone who played it since the last verified inspection.

If the tech said it like "tree-fiddy", then he CONFIRMED posts here.

Exactly.

It would be more cost effective to simply accept this as a win.

How can they prove it wasn’t malfunctioning for a prolonged period?

They assume it only broke for the win because that’s how they benefit.

It's survivorship bias in its truest form.

There's no conspiracy. The slot machine in question is a WAP (Wide Area Progressive) machine. That same machine and progressive amount are connected with the other Wheel of Fortune games throughout the country at other casinos. If that particular machine had it hit, it would have locked up and the rest of the machines at other casinos would have just reset to it's base amount (probably 250,000 - 500,000)

You don't "win" if the game malfunctions. They're machines. Just like all other machines. They break

Bingo, maintain the machines better to guard against this or pay up.

This is actually true.

Mafia have harsh rules for those in their organization but you choose to enter that life. But when it came to gambling they paid up if you won

Again, can you confirm that it didn’t malfunction for every other time it was played after the last time it was maintained?

Was it “tilting” for all those losses?

Idk anything about election machines. I do that the video slots are more reliable than the reel slot she was playing because of course, reel slots have moving parts (reels)

If that’s true, then it’s possible the win was legitimate but the comms with the other machines were bad.

If this particular machine triggers a win, then it tries to communicate the win to other systems, could it then go on “tilt”? The win would be legitimate and the “tilt” would be legitimate.

You can read the court ruling from the Phil Ivey NJ case to see how all of that works together.

AC can lower the limits at a table to $1 if they want to get rid of you. Can’t kick you out but can make the stakes so low that you leave on your own.

Nevada and in other countries? Nevada will blacklist you and other countries will likely throw you in jail for defrauding the monarchy, such as in the case of Monaco.

Again, you aren’t answering my question.

Can you prove to me that the machine was not malfunctioning when players were losing?

Why have I never heard of casinos detecting a malfunction in the players’ favor and refunding their losses?

If you won legitimately, they would pay you, or at least keep you in the casino long enough to try and win the money back.

That scene in Casino where they destroyed a cheater’s hand with a mallet? Based on an actual story told by Lefty Rosenthal of a pair of guys caught cheating at the Stardust.

Who cares if there is a technical glitch?
I did not cheat
I put my money in the machine
I spin the wheel
Machine says I win
There is a reason it is known as a game of chance...for both.
You chance losing your money, and they chance losing their money.
Pay Up!
