The first time I went to Austin in 2004, I counted the number of black people I saw
Over 3 days I counted 14
I presume it's changed since then

That's accurate. I lived there prior to that, and it was Indians and White people, mostly. Everyone was afraid of the bike mounted cops, and you just had random white girls puking.
It's not clear if opening the homeless center off of sixth, or the tranny and women with a vagina (redundant) shelter off of 8th have any impact on this, of course.

Most normal people that live here don’t ever see or hear about all that stuff.
Company you keep and all.
Also you can say that people who watch that stuff online all the time are pretty trashy too, so.

There’s a lot more to Austin than Dirty 6th. It’s a safe city for its size and arguably the safest big city in Texas.

It’s full of liberals. Liberals are miserable people.
Was just in Austin for work and noticed no one is friendly.

Bingo! My ex podna, Big_Moe from Vacherie, turned Libby and is now insufferable. I think it’s starting to take its toll, b/c he can’t seem to stay awake at work anymore.

6th street is the sonic of Austin.
And it’s not a new thing, been going on since the 90s. Just now you can catch highlights on instagram.

It has changed. There are fewer black people today. Gentrification and real estate priced them out.
It’s the homeless and Mexicans that you have to worry about, but that’s mostly isolated to certain pockets of town.
