Why do people admire Michael Jackson?

So weird, he makes most of y’all look normal. Honestly it’s hard to know where to start, including being an obvious pedophile. And people still admire him?
His music was also very bad. I’m not impressed with his moon walk.

Catchy pop music and dancing. I don't get it at all why he is revered as some genius. The constant repetition of Thriller around Halloween (a largely children's holiday) is revolting. Bothers me every time I hear it. But sang and danced real good so most of society excuses the blatant pedo.

One of the accusers dad, Jordan Chandler was an inspiring screenwriter and a dentist that would hook his clients up with whatever drug they wanted. He also wrote Robin Hood Men in Tights.

I'll admit that I'm not a fan. I respect him as a talent, but I don't really enjoy his work and obviously that's before you get to him being absurdly creepy. What minimum fondness I have for MJ is more nostalgia for a time more than his work.
But I'll go a step further and piss off even more people. I feel similarly about Prince.
