The price of every drop of our oil is in large part determined by the amount of oil that flows through that strait.

Energy commodity economics seems to be a bridge too far for many here.

The argument was whether we should care at all that the Strait of Hormuz is closed (which we should), not whether we should be taking any action in the region at all, but ok tough guy.

The rest is not our problem.

Even if you ignore the effects on commodities that pass through the Strait and come directly into the US and ignore the effects on US companies’ interests in the region, the knock on effects on energy prices are enormous. There’s no magic “drill more in the US” button like the politicians like to believe and energy costs are at the bottom line of everything. Everything becomes much more expensive without free movement in the Strait.

A&M’s been facing the same backlash with the Yell Leaders for decades. We stand with our Longhorn brothers and sisters during this trying time.

Admittedly I'm not a baseball guy - and acknowledging that last season was a failure of epic proportions, but why is everyone saying he's out when we're currently ranked?
ITT: A lot of impatient people
Agreed, this is not a good matchup for us. We’ll get smoked in the first round, but again, we beyond exceeded expectations for this season.
