Y'all ain't got a Publix? You can't get Publix subs? I'm never going to spend any extended time in Louisiana, then. I can't live without my Publix sub.

I went to a Publix in Spanish Fort, Ala. and it was super nice with a good beer selection. But I tell you, that new Rouses in Denham is pretty much in the same ballpark.

Publix, Costco, and Sprouts for the win.

Publix for day to day
Sprouts for produce
Costco for anything

Occasionally we go to Kroger, fresh market, or wholefoods.

Lowes food store/Harris Tweeter are the best- in a tie with Kroger.

Publix is trashy compared to these stores.

You could bring whatever supermarket you want into Louisiana. until shoppers stop unnecessarily trashing the markets and the work ethic is there to maintain the stores, things are going to be about like what you have now.

Truth. Their sushi is amazing and a roll is $6 or $7. Wegmans is the GOAT grocery store.

Louisiana needs an ALDI. I buy a month worth of groceries for $250. It's basically a cheap man's Trader Joe's.

Publix is very clean and great customer service but their prices are thru the roof and they don't have a much better selection or carry specialty items compared to other chains. Their deli section is on point though. I have never tried their subs bu this thread inspired me to pick one up a few minutes ago to eat later.

I used to love publix when I lived in ga. I hate going to win Dixie, albertsons or Walmart. They basically say frick customer service. Or maybe its just that I live in BR and there is just a certain type of people that work at these places. So even if they did bring publix here, it will still be full of the same employees.

The customer service at Publix is top notch. I guess it's because they pay their employees more. I always have a pleasant experience there.

I want a HEB in Dallas damn it. Public would be good too. Whole Foods and Central Market (owned by same company as HEB) are too expensive.
